Recovery after a full revision

Postby MikeAN » Sat Jan 26, 2019 8:44 am

I may be getting a full revision in early February. For those of you who experienced a revision what was the recovery like compared to you initial surgery? Is the trauma more, less or the same? How about time to first sex?

Just had a partial revision in Dec. Pump was moved. Had surgery on the 4th the next Monday I was cleared for sex cycling and work. Went to work immediately after the appt.
A complete revision will take longer but not that much, well how long did your first take? Mine was 13 days.
You doc should be able to tell you better. Maybe

Doug-
Why did you have your pump moved? I needed mine moved due to a fluid tract that was coming to the surface.

Kosh,
Mine was too high I think that the preassembled units don't have enough tube length. Dr Kata extended them to reach deep down in my scrotum.

I found the second time easier but I think that's because I knew what to expect. I didn't make it to cycling or sex before I went septic.
