Trying to get scheduled for March

Postby SW0110 » Mon Jan 21, 2019 12:34 am

Just wanted to say I appreciate all the posts. They have been very eye opening for the most part. My wife had her surgery and all did not go as well as we hoped so she is going to have a couple more this year. One big thing for her was an infection. Not good with brain surgery. So in scheduling hers with surgeons this year leaves me with a March window. We were going to baltimore in march to have Kramer do my implant but traveling for her is pretty much out this year. When she gets to feeling better they are doing more surgery. I got a short window so it looks like I will probably do this locally or within 2 hours anyway. She will be able to drive by then and can make a short drive. Just no way I could take the chance on me having an issue an being far from the house.

I will comment that with all the stuff going on in the past month or so I did not do any traction or ved. Started back up and I had lost some size. Prior to my wife's surgery I had gotten up to right at 6 inches with about 100 mg of viagra and about 6.75 inches in a ved tube. When I started back a week ago I was below 6 with viagra and about 6.25 in the ved. Spent a lot of time stretching and vacuuming and thank goodness am back were I was at 6.75 in the ved again. I was worried but hope to keep my length again until I can get this taken care of. I would be happy just to make my 6 inches and keep that. I will be getting the titan due to peyronies issue and my curve. My curve has gotten better over the past 7 months. Not sure if due to traction, ved. Pentox or all of them.

I thought about waiting till 2020 but the thought of having to keep doing traction and ved just irritates me to bad. I want to do something as soon I can logistically do it without interfering with my wife's surgery and recovery schedule this year. Not much sex of any kind probably in my house till 2020 but it would be nice to be ready when we both can. Local dr did tell me I should keep my trimix length which was just under 6 and I was not real hard so maybe I will get at least close to 6 anyway. He did say I should get more length back over the next year or so with cycling. He also only likes to use 1 rte at most as long as tubing works out ok. Titan let's him get close coming in 2 cm increments. Titan should fix my curve. Wish I could find a higher volume surgeon but this one does do around 75 a year so for Ky area it is pretty high.

Oh well. To be honest I just want something done as soon as I can get it done. I know there are good local surgeons but hoping for one and knowing where great implant surgeons are actually located are two very different things. I hope this one is a good one. If not when my wife gets sorted out I will visit a great one. I hate playing chain luck but sometimes you deal with what you can. As my wife would tell me. You at least will not have someone cut a hole in your skull. How do you argue with that. Hope everyone had a good holiday.
18 cm plus 1 rte titan installed March 2019. Revision March 2020 by Dr. Andrew Todd, Richmond KY. He replaced the titan with an AMS 700 LGX 18 cm cylinder plus 2 rte for 20 cm total length.

I feel your pain. I did not have my wife's health to worry about but chose to go local instead of waiting. Even if you found 10 guys who use the same doctor and had wonderful results that still doesn't guarantee that you will. I was going to use Kramer Baltimore but just couldn't wait. Same problem I really got tired of using vacuum therapy. I just did not want to wait any longer. Now I have problems. But honestly if I had it to do again I would make the same choice. I wouldn't wait. erectile dysfunction stinks.

I don't know about Coloplast but AMS considers a High Volume Implant Surgeon to be one that does 25 a year. People can't wait to post bad stuff about other people... In the absence of bad reviews, Trust him (or her). :)
