Why not cut the suspensory ligament inside the pubis for length issues?

Since there's an implant to keep things up and straight, why not cut that ligament as they do for penile lengthening surgery? So may men discussing their missing inch or 2 and this is what is gained by men doing the ligament cut. Am I missing something?

The implant will keep things straight, but (as I understand it) if you cut the suspensory ligament, things will not be as "up" (as in upward pointing) as they would be if you left it intact.
edited to add, in response to Phil65's post (#3): I am implanted and have just short of 6" in length and point, at best, 2:30. At my best (pre-E.D.), I had about the same length and pointed at about 1:00. If cutting the ligament would give me another inch but leave me pointing a 5:00, I doubt I would do it. Now, if my erect length was 3" and I could gain another inch at the cost of my vertical angle, the decision point would be moved. Maybe not all the way to "yes" but I sure would think about it.

Yes and I understand that but millions of non-implanted men have undergone the *enhancement*. I just find it curious as to why implanted men don't speak of this potential solution to all the disappointments to losing some length. Seems like a win/win to me.

At least 2 urologists I have seen say that they absolutely do not recommend cutting it. They say that causes a whole host of problems later. I did not do into detail with them about it. I have enough problems, I don't need any more.

I'm opting for scrotoplasty. No increase. But it hangs nicely with the illusion of an increase in what's really there.

Dr. Garber does it.
