Re: The Implant Journey Begins...Day by Day Journal

So, I guess I'll be the next guy to start a journal on the implant journey. Operation date is set for Jan 7, 2019.

Had my pre-op visit with Dr Gross on Friday, had my urine, MRSA, & blood tests, and an EKG to check my heart. All good.

While I am going through with this, i have to honestly say I am not without concerns. I used to be well-endowed (yes, made porn movies, and erect dick pic will be included at the end of this post.) Had sex with a LOT of guys (over 250), and was almost always the top. About two to three years ago, I simply wasn't getting as hard as I used to, and it got worse over time. Tried pumps, pills, and injections...nothing worked consistently. Along with the ED, my duck shrunk and is a shadow of its former self. (Current pic at the best I can do - kind of a half-way erection - also included below.) Have lost a good two inches.

Part of me says, "Might as well get the implant and get hard again" (Insurance will cover - Yeah!)

Part of me says, "Why bother? Why go into surgery at the age of 59 and subject my body to this trauma? Why not just say good bye to sex and stop dwelling on it?"

The "do it!" side has won out, but I have to be honest and say it's not a slam-dunk. I still have nagging doubts, but those doubts haven't overcome my decision to move forward with this. Part of me thinks this is probably good, because it shows that I'm not just rushing blindly into this. A little cynicism and 'double-checking' is good.

I'll be getting a Titan. Because I've shrunk so much, it wont replicate "the way I used to be," length-wise, but that's OK, because I'll never be there again anyway.

Once I go under the knife, I'll try and make daily posts for the first few weeks. Fingers crossed.

Since there's pix of me already on the net, I dont mind being transparent about stuff.

How does your current shrunk size compare to your trimix hard on? Or did you use trimix. From my RP to implant, I always kept my dick in good shape by VAC and trimix, so lost nothing. That was only 9 months. Before IPP I pumped it up with trimix ( that makes to whole member ache). I could feel (by the achenes) where the base of the cruse was. I measured from there to the tip of my glans. 9 inch total. When IPP was all done, I was 9 inch total. ^6 inch outside and 3 inch in the cruses. I seem to think I am skinnier but I never had a thick dick. Hope things work out well for you.

I havent wrapped my head around what everyone on this site is referring to as "trimix;" I used a combination of Alprostadil, Papaverine, and Phentolamine. I suppose that could be "trimix," although neither my doc or my supplier referred to it as such.

When it worked, it was WONDERFUL...a full 9 inches, and 6.5 around, and would last 6 hours and ache/throb. When it didnt work - which was most of the time...not a damned thing.

Yes that is trimix. Maybe your injection technique was bad. My tunica is so hard that auto inject needles would bounce off and bend the tip. 0 results. My injection technique with a 31ga 5/16 needle was. I am small, so I VAC a little to show veins and get a better target. I jab through the outer flesh till it hits the tunica. Then I jab with more force to pass through the tunica wall. If the plunger has resistance, I jab some more till the plunger is free. The plastic will be indenting the outer skin. I inject then press hard on the plunger. This compresses the rubber in the plunger. When I release the pressure, the plunger draws in a drop of blood. When I remove the needle I check by squeezing the plunger again on a white tissue. I see the blood drop, I know I have hit the right spot. Never has this failed. I stopped injections of trimix because it caused me sever pain and also created some pyronies at mid ship. You will enjoy your IPP and I believe you will get your full length. If I were in New England I would have traveled to Drs Eid or Kramer. They really know their stuff. Has your current dr said you will not get your length back? My dr assured me that I would not loose any length from my original size.

My Doc, Dr. Gross, actually works very closely with Dr. Eid, and is experienced with this, so I feel comfortable with him. he told me that the length I am now is the length I'll be...though my girth will probably be more. We shall see and post results here!

Keep the area elevated above your heart it reduces swelling and discoloration. Did he use stitches or surgical glue? If he used glue you should be able to soak in the tub. That's a great help

Just spoke with Dr. Gross, and he is happy with hiw the process went. He used a 24 cm Titan, with 1 inch extenders. He also advised me to lose weight and watch the tool grow. Right now, Mr. Dick is inflated at attention. Doc believes this will help to insure that scar tissue will not impede inflation. Big catheter inserted up mu urethra till tomorrow, so I won't have to get up to pee tonight. So far, 100% happy I did this!
