If you have original medicate you’ll get fewer denials than medicare assigned to an HMO (advantage plans). Ok you have a secondary insurance they should cover most balances BUT get everything pre approved.

I have appealed Medicare's decision on blood work coverage but have not received a ruling. I have recurring prostate cancer with surgical removal back in 2011. Seems they would allow for additional blood work for a PCa guy.

I'm not sure how to get pre-implant tests approved through Medicare. Will be calling Dr. Kramer's office to see if they order EKG and other required testing using codes acceptable by Medicare. I'm one of these people who must be reassured everything will be covered.
RP surgery for PCa March 2011, rising PSA 2013, remission since 2014. Chronic ED since 2011 tried pills, VED, and injections. Implanted LGX 4/17/19 Dr. Kramer. On scale of 1-10 I'd give it an 8. That's due to a slight curve.

Used my yearly physical for blood work for implant zero cost, and BCBS along with Medicare paid everything with Dr. Kramer. Have never seen a bill.
Implanted March 2nd by Dr. Kramer with AMS/LGX. Had a problem lower left (scar tissue) and he placed a larger (thicker) implant as you can here on the YouTube video. Got all back, ED over 10 years before Implant.

I have A and B with AARP suppl. I've asked on big things to get preapproval but now I'm satisfied that for nearly everything I;m covered. AARP plan N covers everything approved by Medicare and pays the 20% etc. I have a $20 copay for each visit but can see anyone without a referral. Very nice well worth the extra $$$$.
My wife has the "free" suppl and she does have to get approval. But hers covers meds mine does not.
