Sore Little Buddy

Hey everyone, I am now 5 1/2 weeks post op. I have a question...
I have been cycling 2x a day with ease. Everything is going just fine. I'm happy with size and all that. My question has to do with soreness. My little buddy is so sore! No matter what I wear it hurts. There isn't even a thought of sex yet. Not even close.
How long does it take before I would be able to expect to be free of soreness, tenderness, etc?

I’m sorry to hear that your recovery has not been as good as it should be. When did you start cycling and who did your surgery.?

Started cycling on day 21. Scrotum was too swollen to do it earlier. Kaiser Permanente N California

Try some nice hot baths and even a heating pad. It will get better, honest... it just takes time.

I agree with Larry try hot baths. I was activated on day three and cycled twice that day
And every day after for 4 weeks the pain at the beginning was a bit tough but after a week the only thing that hurt was the skin on the sack I had to move the pump around a lot to avoid the same area . By three weeks it was toughened up and not sore but every day two hot baths pump till it won’t pump anymore and then sit in the tub counting the seconds till the twenty minute mark to deflate. The first week I couldn’t make it past 15 minuets it as the weeks went by it was less and less painful. Get in the tube and work it in the hot water.

I am also 5 weeks post implant - the pain is still very felt (even with regular painkiller). A lot better than immediately after the operation though.
I notice the pain more so in the hours after inflating (during inflation itself the pain isn't too bad).
To help the inflation process, I find that gently massaging it with lotion (i.e. gentle masturbation) certainly helps - guessing because it's maybe mechanically easier for the device to inflate during an engorged penis.
I certainly wouldn't be able to consider sex yet though - at the current pain I'm guessing another month atleast.
What I haven't tried yet is inflating inside a hot tub - partly because I have a shower at home not a tub! I think I will try submerging inside a bucket of warm water though.
Question for Larry and Dave (or anyone who hot-bathes) - do you inflate it whilst the penis is fully submerged in the water (like being inside a swimming pool)? - or is it only the testicles that need to be submerged in the hot-water (and the penis kept in open-air)?

The best way I have found is to be in the tub covered up to the chest wait for 5-10 minuets to let things soften up then pump I would use a face cloth to prevent my hands from slipping and pump with both thumbs till it’s like a steal rod then wait a few and try to get in an other pump or two . This method works the best but if you take a heating pad and put it on high for ten or twenty minutes that’s a good substitute you can leave the heat on at a comfortable temp after it’s fully pumped for as Long as you can stand it it’s painful at first but it gets better

Is it the implant that makes you sore or the clothes?
Assuming it is the clothes, here is what I have done:
I wear snug-fitting underwear that holds my penis against my belly. No rubbing or chafing and having hit pointing up (and a little to the side) minimizes any bulge. I am not so long that my glans is is danger of peeking out over my belt, so this works well for me.

That's a great question. Sore is sore but I definitely am having clothes issues. My little buddy is not happy pointing up. Even the slightest movement in my underwear makes it very sore by the end of the day. I've found that as the swelling has pretty much gone in the past several days that I am most comfortable with it pointing down in tight undies.
My little buddy seems to refill a bit on its own and turns into a small half ass chubby erection that wants to point more straight out. That really has been the problem. I've found that if I fully deflate my AMS 700 LGX once in a while, maybe 3 times a day, that the clothes issue is greatly reduced. I wonder if this is normal?
Is there a trick to the deflate to keep it deflated?

I tend not to point upwards - only because the elastic-bit of the underwear will otherwise slip over onto the sensitive painful area of the testicles
The pain is there even when not wearing clothes. The pain I would say is mostly around where those 'rabbit ear's folds are - so if I massage these areas whilst sitting (i.e. squeezing the folds inwards), it certainly does relieve the pain a bit
