Life-time warranty Coloplast

I've read on this board Coloplast (and also AMS) have a lifetime warranty. Some brothers say you will only pay once for the implant and with revisions you only have to pay the cost of the surgery.
I also read that Coloplast in case of failing of the hardware in 10 years they will not charge anything.

Makes me wonder if you have a revision or replacement after 10 years do have to pay only the costs of the surgery or also the new device? It's not clear for me and important because insurance won't cover.

I try to find out. Are there brothers over here who have repaced, had a revision after 10 years with the same device. Did you see the bill ? Did they charge only the surgery or also the costs for a new device?

Is there an official warranty document of Coloplast Titan?

Thanx

I'd luv for people to respond to that question...still on a lookout to hear from people who have had the implant for more than 10 years...

If insurance covered the first implant and it fails, it makes sense they would cover a replacement and I have heard of this happening.

The insurance won't cover at all for me. So for me it's important if i have to pay a new device after 10 years if it fails.

Have no idea, but a card that came with my AMS 700lgx says warranty expires in 24 months.

The coloplast says lifetime warranty. I assume it means only the implant. Nothing else. So you would have to pay the dr. And hospital costs.i wonder if it covers a longer impl asnt. Say you got a 20 cm and needed a 22 cm. Would that be covered. I guess time will tell.
