Pump behaves strange

Postby strongagain » Sat Dec 15, 2018 7:55 am

At the time of activation and a while after that normally the pump is very hard, then it becomes softer and pumping gets easy.

Now something is strange. Since a while pumping sometimes becomes as difficult as in the beginning. Initially nothing happens the pumps stays hard like a marble. Only after maybe 4-5 attempts the pump becomes easy to operate again. What's going on?

I am finding that I usually have to make several attempts to deflate after pumping. All the fluid doesn't come out at once. If I wait a few minutes or more, then I can squeeze the rest out. I find that sometimes without draining completely, it is harder to inflate. Not sure if this will help your situation or not.

Is it possible that you are putting a kink in one of the pump’s tubes? Try repositioning the pump while you squeeze.

Thank you for your advice. Lately I just drain without squeezing. Maybe, that’s the reason? Will quickly squeeze and see how it goes tomorrow. Will let you know of course. The pump is always at precise the same location, so if there is a kink then not near the pump.

Maybe try the "First Solution" from the Titan manual:
