For me, for personal reasons, I want to have my surgery done the first week of March at the latest. I want to have it done with Kramer but logistically could not get to baltimore until October. My wife just does not entertain traveling that soon after her surgery. She also does not want me doing it without her. I am not waiting until October. So my biggest mistake ever might be scheduling my implant with a surgeon 2 hours away who does 1.5 a week. He will put in a titan. Says all the right things. Tells me my size will be a minimum of the 5.5 I have with the trimix. Probably a little more since the trimix did not get me fully hard. I should gain some more with cycling over next year. Prefers to use only 1 rte and is a follower of the NYC dr. Also uses scrotal incision.

I just do not want to wait any longer than I have to. I want to get this done and will have to hope all goes well. If not I guess a revision could be done later in the year. Biggest mistake or success, time will tell. So realistically a lot of factors in this decision. Luck to us all.

I really feel your pain sounds just like me. I wanted this badly my first uro dumped me after approving implant surgery. Said I gave him bad vibes. Was scheduled for number 2 in my open window before my wife went back to work. But that guy could not promise me 4.5" so cancelled and got another surgery date from the guys who screwed me up. Yes there were warning signals but by now I was desperate. Word of advice. Don't be desperate it will cloud your judgement.

Another word of advice pick a good reputable doctor with experience and don’t micro manage him.if you do and you don’t trust and listen to his instructions then your not going to get a good outcome.

I totally agree with you,Dave52.
Age 69. Prostatectomy in 2000. My urologist (for over 20 years) has been Dr. Marc Siegelbaum of Chesapeake Urology, in the Baltimore suburb of Towson. I have LGX, and after regular inflating I regained my original length. (My wife and I love it!)

I will add that traction and vacuum are getting me stretched back out. I think traction is helping more for my length. It feels like the plaque is narrower but longer. But the ved is getting some of the dents better. They both get me around 6.5. Best I ever was was right at 7, so if i can get around 6 i would call it a resounding success. All the drs I saw all agreed I would increase in length over the next year or so with use, whether cycling or with regular sex. I should get my girth back which was around 6 so I will be happy.

Bad part is that with trimix at dr I was just over 5.5. But he did say I was not fully hard, so my length should be longer than that with measurement at surgey. The stretch was just over 6. But it was not my stretch. I did like him. Saying he only likes to use a max of one rte iv possible. His only caveat was if my body was in some way different and more would be needed to get thr tubing where it needs to go. He also uses a scrotal incision which for me is a must. Fyi. Not bashing the infrapubic I just have other stomache issues and prefer none gets near it if possible with a knife. As I posted elsewhere every dr. Agreed on one thing, I would need the titan to fix my peyronies curve. I asked about ams and they could implant it, but did not feel it would fix curve or give me the girth I needed. Option discussed was cx not lgx due to the peyronies.
Central KY. Fell around 2.5 yrs ago on the boys. ED, venous leak, and Peyronies developed since. Implanted March 7, 2018, Dr. Kevin Campbell, Cincinnati, OH. Titan was used due to 30 to 35 degree curve. 18 plus 1. Excellent experience so far. Happy so far

I'm really not sure why docs think the CX is better for peyronies? It is only better if they cannot dilate large enough for the LGX. The implant itself is actually inferior in design for peyronies. I agree that the Titan is much better suited for peyronies curve, if you like to keep it deflated. Otherwise at 2 or 3 pumps all day and night the LGX is just as good.
If you use a 2 1/4 in ved tube and keep good pressure until your shaft swells out up to your glans then you have no need for the CX. They will be easily able to dilate you (gut your penis) for the LGX or Titan.
