Sorry, I did not mean to start something, I was just tired of reading all the VERY negative posts on the Titan. I have said all I need to say on the subject, case closed.

You're right, there is no need to bash one manufacturer over another. Both implants have their ideal patients and when they are not a good fit, assuming there is nothing wrong with the device, the problem is with the doctor that chose the wrong one. Everyone have a great weekend. :)

Have a great Thanksgiving Larry, thanks for all you do here.

Thanks Andy, I appreciate that and, you are very welcome. You enjoy your turkey dinner, we had Thanksgiving back in October. :)

Not sure what all the crap is about. Anyone who has done any research at all knows there are pros and cons to each model. Not really debatable just facts. Plenty of studies out there that both will give you some length and girth back over time. Pretty much depends on the shape your dick is in when you get the implant.

Visited my 4th dr. For ultrasound and blood flow tests last week hoping I broke something I could get surgically fixed without an implant. No such luck. I have blood coming in but it is leaking out. I also have peyronies. His opinion is that I will need a titan and it should fix my curve without any other surgery needed. I asked about ams but he preferred the titan due to its stronger cylinder strength and would keep my girth. His first words at the beginning of this conversation was that this was a good option for me. My best option was a natural erection and that is not happening for me anymore. There will be a definite learning curve but after 12 to 18 months I should be comfortable with it. This is not something that is done and you feel normal within weeks. He wanted to make sure I had a realistic expectation. He did tell me I would keep my length, about 6 inches, and girth, so I am happy about that. He also said I could expect to gain some length over time through cycling over the next year or so. He also told me with a titan he prefers to use only 1 rte since it comes in 2cm increments. One caveat was if something about my body would make him use more for pump and tube placement but his view was the less rte the better.

So for me, not sure I have much choice. Looks like a titan, dog ears and all. I think I am going to try to keep an open mind. I am planning on March for mine. Still not sure about a dr. I like this last one but still might visit a specialist. I pretty much just want my hard dick back without using popsicle sticks and duct tape.
18 cm plus 1 rte titan installed March 2019. Revision March 2020 by Dr. Andrew Todd, Richmond KY. He replaced the titan with an AMS 700 LGX 18 cm cylinder plus 2 rte for 20 cm total length.

Don't worry about the dog ears. I am 19 months out on this Titan and I could not make it dog ear if I wanted to now. It took about 6 months for that to start seeing progress. You will like that Coloplast has a much smaller pump. Your balls will like your for it too. How about that? Love all around you? Cheers.
LGX 21cm .Milam 01/13/16. Horror; both service and surgical outcome. hated infrapubic installation. Kramer revision 03/01/17. 22cm Titan +1.5cm extender. Those who think their opinion is the only one that matters are a danger to themselves and others.

I have a similar situation same length a bit more girth I m three weeks post op and I’m now just starting to get a little more comfortable with my wife’s new toy.. There’s no doubt that even at this stage things are not fully healed the incision is totally and completely invisible. There is still lots of tenderness in the perineum the area on the left of the penis where the chanel for the pump was made is still a little puffy and tender as are the tips whe full inflated. I would think that in another three weeks there will be more improvement. I am grateful that I chose to go to a specialist I think that there is definitely surgical skills that benefits the patient. I know that the after care and availability to have any and all concerns covered could not be better anywhere else. I’m not saying that other Doctors can’t or don’t offer the same level of patient care. I’m just saying I’m satisfied..

How are you doing since the surgery? I am scheduled for surgery on January 15 to remove my prostate. My implant surgeon says I'm lucky because I've Artie solved the problem in advance. I hope that all that will change is that I will have a dry orgasm?
