Prostate Cancer Treatment and Implants

Postby HarryBelafonte » Fri Nov 09, 2018 12:24 pm

I'm exploring different treatment options for prostate cancer and had an implant in 2014 that has been very successful. My implant surgeon said that proton therapy would not interfere with my implant but in my consult yesterday the radiation oncologist Dr. Lee of Irving Texas said that I might be prepared to replace it. Has anyone had experience with proton therapy, radiation therapy, or surgery while having an implant already in place?
