Ohio doctor

Postby bloomingguy » Tue Nov 06, 2018 12:37 pm

I'm looking for any recommended implant dr in Ohio. I need to stay within a PPO plan for an Ohio surgeon. Any response is appreciated.

first time. I posted last week that I had pre approval, then denied. Dr Kramer is out of network so I am interviewing alternatives to have the surgery 12 months from now.

You could try calling Jamie - the AMS Rep... she may be able to provide you with a good name that would also be supported by the manufacturer. :)

I don,t know if Cleveland clinic is in your network. I believe it is. There are a few quite a few eurologists there. I am scheduled for an implant by Dr. Drogo Montague on the 30th. If that will help.
There are some in Columbus if that would be closer. There is also a Doctor locator on this web site. Good luck.

I have had a heck of a time finding someone I am comfortable with. At my wife's urging she had me make an appt with one in Cincinnati. Dr. Kevin campbell. I have only met with him once but he listened to me about my fall and did not just tell me me. And I quote. Yep you have peyronies. We can either do excision and grafting or just put a titan implant in. In researching peyronies there really is limited options. I just wanted someone to do some checks to make sure I did not damage myself otherwise from my fall. I was black and blue from my knees to my waist for about a month after. He is the first dr to want to see about an ultrasound and blood flow tests. He did not want to get into implant options until the tests are done next week. I cannot say anything about his implant experience but there are online reviews from others you can check who were satisfied. I will decide my options when we go over them after the tests. All I csn say right now is I am seeing him again for now. If I do need an implant he will have to answer my questions in that regard as there is nothing really online for him in regards to incision type, revision rate, infection percent, etc.. All I have is he is a coloplast center of excellence surgeon whatever that means. I specifically asked for him when I made the appt. And he did not rush my initial visit for what worth.
18 cm plus 1 rte titan installed March 2019. Revision March 2020 by Dr. Andrew Todd, Richmond KY. He replaced the titan with an AMS 700 LGX 18 cm cylinder plus 2 rte for 20 cm total length.
