Hi everyone,
New member here. I’ve been reading alot on the forum for weeks now and have found it very helpful. I am a healthy 38 year old. I have struggled with ED since my earliest sexual experiences at 19. It has been a defining force in my life and robbed me of a good bit of pride, self esteem, a couple of girlfriends before I met my wife. I have been with my wife now for 13 years. She knew well about my issue and accepted me anyway. For many years we were able to have some success with medications. We have been able to have two great daughters for which I am very thankful. Things have gotten worse over these last few years where the successes have become few and far between. Both of us have developed alot of anxiety about even trying to have sex because it usually blows up in our face and causes alot of hurt and drama. I have seen 4-5 doctors about it and have always been told its in my head. I definitely have alot of anxiety now but I didnt when all this started, I was just excited to be with a woman initially. The anxiety has come on over time with repeated failures. Either way I have decided to take the plunge and get an implant, largely due to this forum. Local urologists have never even told me it’s an option based on my age . I am scheduled to see Dr. Kramer after Thanksgiving and have my surgery the following day. I am excited at the prospect of being able to be “normal” and the amount of good it will do for my marriage. I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I will keep you all updated.
