Just going over old posts. My first was to J on the day of my surgery Aug 8th. I think he had 18cm w 4 cm rtes I have 18 cm w 3 cm rtes. i figured he would be about 1/3" longer than me. Now I'm more than 1" longer than him and still growing.
There is no magic penis. Our common enemy is scarring and each body handles it differently. I am convinced that many FT guys are being held back by their scarring. But We all have a sweet spot where it's enough. I hit mine early and would have already quit if I felt it would be safe for me. My right tip ripped through the lining and allowed my left tip to migrate into the right chamber. Fixed that but am not sure if the right tip will eventually tear through my outer skin.
I took 3 days off, no flaccid stretch, no VED, no cycling no nothing. This Am measured 6" flaccid hanging at about 5:30. Pumped full and measured 6" hanging at about 4"30. I seem to be stabilizing early. Still not sure where to go from here. Ordered the visit notes from Dr Carrion and have another visit with Dr Kata. Hoping for some solid answers.
I was very lucky. Before implant I had no Doctor helping my recover from ED. Based FT results I would have gone into surgery no better with 5 3/8" and come out with an implant struggling to make 5". Thank goodness I ignorantly stumbled onto VED figured out how to make it work for me and have the benefits of already having stretched out my extensive scarring before implant surgery.
Good luck to you guys who went into surgery still very small from scarring. Or who came out of the surgery very small from its scarring.

You use ved post op, correct? Did you talk about it with your dr and what did he say, and how soon after operation you started using it?

I've talked to 7 uros about VED after implant and they all gave me a blank stare. I started 15 days after implant surgery still looking for the doc who knows what he is doing to take over my implant. Honestly I don't think surgeons are schooled on the benefits of VED and I'm sure they do not know how to use it effectively. Anyone have a different experience? Larry excepted of course.

Sorry if you have done it in some other topic, but can you give a roundabout how you do it and how you feel it has benefitted you?

I've talked to 7 uros about VED after implant and they all gave me a blank stare. I started 15 days after implant surgery still looking for the doc who knows what he is doing to take over my implant. Honestly I don't think surgeons are schooled on the benefits of VED and I'm sure they do not know how to use it effectively. Anyone have a different experience? Larry excepted of course.

Doug, I think you will have a hard time finding a doc that knows a lot.
After my prostatectomy about 12 years ago, on a follow up appt. about 2 months after, as the doc had his hand on the door knob getting leave the room after less than a 5 min. appearance, I told him that several things that I had noticed were bothering me..... He said, "That's interesting!" and continued to walk out the door and shut it behind him.
That was the last time I saw him. I asked him on a prior appt. about Trimix and Bimix and he said he had never heard of either of them.
My point mentioning this is that a lot of the docs are just not up to speed on ED problems and solutions, all they are interested in is the surgery fee.

Maybe if you can find a doc that is in the same position we are in, he may be motivated to know or find the answers to some of these questions.

Dr Brock was telling me that when he first heard about it, he thought it was a bit weird too. He teaches all over the world and wherever he was at that time the VED was very popular so he started looking into it. Finally him and another urologist decided to do a formal study and after that they wrote that paper. Now, he is a big believer.
