VED Pressure check

Postby DougAnd » Wed Oct 24, 2018 11:56 pm

I'm looking into buying another pump for my VED. You guys who use one can you tell me what pressures you use? I'm told that there are 3 or 4 different measurements the least used being PSI. Just want to compare. Thanks much

I use the VED on an inflated penis, at about 30 pumps to start off with. I use a water based lube to help make a seal with the VED. I will pump the VED to 4 in. Hg and hold for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes under vacuum I release the VED and let the penis rest for 10 minutes. During the resting period I give the implant another 10 or so pumps. I repeat this process 1 or 2 more times during my session. At present I'm only doing 1 session per day.

So you fully inflate then use a VED. What outcome are you looking for or is this to just encourage blood flow?

I used vacuum just to the point BELOW that which induced edema.

I found that point by accident and was careful after that (scary) episode to stay below that level of vacuum. My device did not have a vacuum gauge, so I just used the feel and the amount of penile expansion seen through the clear plastic tube to estimate the amount of vacuum.

Not the most accurate, but it sufficed.
