I certainly agree a hernia can cause problems. I've had 5 inguinal hernia repairs. I would have thought it would have been obvious enough to know or a doctor to find though I had the same issue as you on the 5th one till I saw a specialist who threw a fit at the other doctors. All had the lay down and push your guts back in issue. Glad you have gotten to the bottom of this issue. A complete revision seemed odd along with a hernia repair but what do I know? Cheers man. Hernia repairs suck too but I must say the hernia repair I had by Dr. Brent Mathews (Now practicing in the Carolinas) was a MASTERPIECE! He said he had to repair all kinds of mess past doctors had done, I started getting erections again after his repair, plus I was able to go back to work here on the farm pain free in a little over a week. None of that 3 months in bed like the first one plus his repair has not re-occurred like the other doctors. Cheers man.

Ali, you give me hope. I was thinking I could stall the repair till after hunting season, but I cant take the pain. Maybe I can be get good surgeon soon and be able to walk in a week or 2.

Oldbeek,
You might consider the flat hidden reservoir. I have one and it is never a bother almost completely flat even filled. Good luck you will beat me to the table, mine is Dec 4 for my pump.

Found the problem to be a hernia that just developed. Nothing wrong with the implant.

I am hoping so. It might be worth a trip a state or 2 north if you could see Dr. Mathews. He said he had to completely change his plan on the surgery when he saw the mess the previous doctors had made but his repair was superior to the others in every way. Healed fast and you cannot find his scar. He should have been a plastic surgeon on women's faces. The man has talent. Cheers. Health Grades says he is still in St. Louis but I was told when I needed a surgeon before that he has moved to S. Carolina. I find him listed there too. Dr. Brent Matthews, MD
