what does she think?

Postby crobin1 » Thu Oct 11, 2018 11:22 am

I am a month away from my surgery. While I am confident this is the solution, I am trying to give my wife (36 years) some encouragement.

I read it is the best thing that has happened to us guys...any encouragement I can give my wife? She hates to hear of what post-op pain and issues I will have. I tell her it will be worth it. Any ladies out there that can attest?

She does like the sound of a straight unit and not the curved arrow I have now.

Well my friend, PAIN is what some people feel. Others describe it as pressure, I had discomfort, etc.. you get the picture. The doctor will prescribe pain killers. Take them... there is nothing manly about being in pain and staring at the prescription bottle telling yourself that you're tough and don't need to take those. NOT MANLY - STUPID. Next, tell her that you will be able to make love to her for a week if the two of you can stay awake that long. Also, I use to have PE (premature ejaculation)... not anymore... I let myself go around 30 minutes because my back can't handle anymore. You have heard of Channels on Demand... how about Erection on Demand. Especially for your wife, there is no down side. :)

Women do tend to be more understanding and supportive than most men can conceive if given the proper chance and incentives. (By "incentive", I mean, trust.)

The first link is very telling. She knows but chooses not to let her boyfriend know she knows. She prefers to wait until (or if) he is ready to tell her. In credibly sensitive to and respectful of the tender male ego.

My wife took to it like the proverbial duck to water. We're both loving it. She was incredibly supportive during my agony of ED for several years. Every new drug my doctor let me try my wife did her best to coax willie out of his slumber. She shared my disappointment everytime but never displayed any of her own. She supported my decision to have the implant even though it would bring my surgery count to 19. She did everything she could to help with my recovery except give in when I tried to talk her into giving it a spin before I was cleared by my urologist. She's so by the book about doctor's orders. She initiates sex occasionally now, something that was rare before, except when she was a teenager and into her early 20's. She mostly likes the fact that my PE is non existent now. Fortunately for me she never knew better about that since I'm the only guy she's ever been with! But she really likes the extended sessions much more, I mean REALLY LIKES!
Became DaveKell 2.0 on July 18th with Dr. Allen Morey in Dallas, TX. AMS 700 CX implant. 18cm with 5.5 RTE's.

You and me are VERY lucky guys to have wife's like we have. I could have written your post and it would have been just as accredit. Thanks for saving me the time :) .

Lost Sheep links a dozen threads where this is discussed.
There is one more, which he obviously thinks is not a good source of information, but I know at least a couple of guys who like it.
So you can check out the long post called "as asked for" on page 49 which is a long post about someone's wife's feelings about implant.
Good Luck.

It is not that I thought it was not a good source of information. It is just that I missed it.

I suppose it comes as no surprise that my wife did not want me to have it done and as each turn heads south reminds me that it was my choice. I see better days coming fast. Of course that could change radically on Wednesday but I hope not.
