Like most guys I went into implant surgery expecting my dead ED penis to be revived like brand new. Testosterone, masturbation, pills, VED and injection had all failed. I did not know that a penile implant does not revive your penis, it replaces it. What you receive does not look the same, does not feel the same does not act the same, is not the same. It is a new virgin penis that at first has a smaller glans, a smaller girth and a smaller length. For months before and after surgery I agonized over my lost penis. Save yourself the grief. It's dead! Bury it, mourn it and move on. The new guy is just waiting to be used so that he can start to grow into some beyond your wildest imagination. Oh yeah!!!

That is so true Doug but in time you can get most of your length back by stretching and your girth improves with use. I am now 2 years implanted and I have my original length back and my girth is increasing as well. It is definitely new and improved. I couldn't be happier.!

Interesting perspective Doug. I don't see it that way. I did and do feel my penis was revived. I guess just a different point of view.

I had a venous leakage of 6 both sides and that is game over. Took me 2 years of no sex to finally take the plunge. Keep in mind that I'm only 2 months out. When they dilate you everything changes until you heal. I'm told that it all grows back but that takes time. If you want girth faster ask for Titan and if you don't have extensive scarring you will be off to a faster start than with AMS. But if you have severe venous leakage 6 or above on both sides and you have had soft erections for years then you will probably have scarring. Ask for that Doppler test. If you have excessive scarring like me an aggressive VED for several months will open you up. I could easily had the largest girthed Titan they dilated me all the way 20mm. I don't need girth so that was my choice, didn't trust my surgeon to do me right in length so went with an LGX just in case. At 2 months I'm at my target length of 6". Had 7" in May but don't really need or want 7. As for my glans well ED took that away. Last week just for jollies I used my VED with a cock ring and got a full erection again glans and all.6" girth and length. Very nice. It was about 15 mins of really nice blast to the past. But my glans is also slowly getting larger and taller again I think VED helps. Keep in mind that you will always have ED. The middle part of your penis is not affected by implant surgery except for overall trauma. If you still have erect glans now in 2 months they will return to normal, maybe sooner?
Bottom line you could wait I did for 2 years no sex at all. Totally impotent. Went from 6" to 5 3/8". Had I not used VED to reclaim lost length before implant right now I would be less than 5" long and struggling to get back 5 3/8.
Your choice. In 2 years I expect my old penis to be back almost. By then my brain will have adjusted to the changes in feel and I should have at least 5+" in girth. Don't need or want my former 6 2/3". I would have gone with Titan for that.
Good luck and keep a close watch on your ED shrinkage it just kreeps up on you one day at a time.

However you compare your "old penis" and "new penis", MY "new penis" allows me to fuck! My old penis was only good for getting sucked...and that actually sucked!

The way I've looked at it (and explained it to a few girls) is.....this is still "ME" ....it's MY skin and MY nerves and it all connects to MY brain and gives ME pleasure.... Yes, I wish it was bigger and thicker (just under 5" and 5") but....for 2.5 years I had a 2" limp little noodle dick. Now I'm good for an hour of pleasure and sometimes even two hours. I haven't been able to do that in decades!

I am sorry this is your result. My results are very different. My sensitivity is equal to when I was a horny teenager. I have not had sensations like this in years. My initial size was smaller than I had hoped, but a year later my penis is back to it lifelong length, a size I have not had in 12 years. My girth has increased from the original size.

I want to make sure your results and comments don’t lead people to believe that is always the case. I went into my surgery thinking I had nothing to lose because my natural penis was pretty much dead and shrinking. Getting an implant has revived mine. Of course my presence would be to have back my natural erection when it functioned, but it stopped that long ago and an implant has given me a second chance at great sex and intense, pleasure.

For this reading this post, yes there are risks, such as what Doug has talked about, but I believe far more implanted men will attest to results more like mine.

Ha! I thought the OP was going to go in a completely different direction. I will add that my experience is quite different from what he describes. I have the same fully engorged glans I had when my dick functioned normally. Absolutely no difference with the exception of if it is squeezed hard enough the implant tips can be felt. Doesn't at all interfere with sex. My sensitivity is much preferable to when I functioned normally. I was a lifelong two pump chump. My premature ejaculation issue cost me quite a few return engagements with some desirable women in my early 20's. Since being implanted I can rock it as long as I want and hold off cumming because I'm aware I can go on for hours so why rush it. My length is about what I recall it being when everything was normal, absolutely no complaints. Come to think of it, not much was "normal" before being implanted. Of course your mileage may vary.
