Tell Me It Gets Bigger! AMS 700 LGX

Hello Everyone,
I had my implant surgery (AMS 700 LGX, 19 cm) one week ago today. I had time and the swelling and bruising has gone down so I decided to try an activate the pump before my follow up Thursday. I am heartbroken at the size and hope you tell me it gets better. I was about 6.5 before, could get hard almost every day, but just wasn't able to have penetrative sex for some reason (maybe psychological). When I inflated today, I was only 4 inches and definitely thinner. Reading some of the AMS 700 posts, I heard that it gets bigger over time with regular cycling. I am not sure how though. My penis doesn't feel completely hard fully pumped, and I don't really feel pain. I am really hoping that I pumped wrong or that it gets bigger somehow. Any experience?

Cycle and be patient. You will see improvement. Its very early on for you and you still got a long way to go. Concentrate on healing. Good luck !

My lifelong erect length from age 16 to 50 was 6.5”. After that I started losing length from age or ED or both. When I had my Prostatectomy I lost a lot and ended up at 4.5” prior to implant surgery. When my surgeon did the stretch test to give me an approximation of my post-op size it was 4.5”. I measured when the wrap came off and my penis was partially inflated. It was 4”. I figured 4.5” had been an approximation and that was close and what I would end up with.

Over the next few weeks after surgery my penis healed and started becoming more flexible. Once I was given the green light to cycle the pump and have sex I started seeing growth. After several months it was 6” and now after a year it is back to my original 6.5” length.

One thing you need to take into account is when you simply pump up an implant, your not typically getting any natural engorgement. Once your penis has a chance to heal and you can massage it, you may gain some length that way, too.

Be patient and I am sure you will see growth. It comes in phases. The first is do to a fully healed penis having more stretch and the next phase is when the implant itself begins to stretch penile tissues.

With infra pubic, did you have any RTEs installed also? If it doesn't hurt it is not fully pumped up. It will not be bend when fully pumped and ache. Specially at the tips. You will be OK. Few weeks out is not the time to be concerned.

Activation varies from doctor to doctor but it is important to follow your doctors instructions. Some start 3 days after some 6 weeks after. I agree with others to not be concerned. Follow your doctors instructions. When I was researching this I read on this site of others achieving gains in size for up to and even over a year post implant. When I was activated by my doctors instructions I was at about 4". I was soon at near 5.5. Now at just over 6 months I am at 6". And I have another 6 months to maybe gain some more. We are all different and some of us take longer than others. Again this is the time to heal. Good luck going forward.

As someone else said, it is still so early that I seriously doubt that you are fully pumped. Once you are healed, you will be able to pump more and you will get some natural as well. I know it really sucks because you wanna know right now but..... be patient my friend.

I was over 6 pre implant and now I’m a good 5 1/2 going on 10 months since surgery so I’m happy and wife is exhausted

So J you are 18 cm + 1 cm rte. = 19 cm total. Right? One thing I've learned from this group and from personal experience is that you make the difference. And it takes time. So MK and you are the same 18 cm + 1 cm rte. And you are both new like me. In a year we will all look back on this day much happier and have a good laugh. For the life of me I don't know why surgeons do not give us stats to look at before and after surgery.

newbee 443 you have a 21 cm + rte = 22 cm. I have an 18cm +3 rte and at 2 months I am already at 6". I use the VED when ever possible. Just goes to show how hard it is to get apples to apples. Do you have your surgical notes? I'd like to share distal measurements. Both sides of mine were 10cm.
