So I’m starting over, ordering cialis for daily and a new trimix formula. Also order a VED for rehab just a few years away from Medicare so hopefully it will still be covered then. Thanks

I cross my fingers for you to make it to Medicare. It's too bad people have to suffer with ED until the government pays for it anyway. :x

Insurance is a different animal for sure. My bcbs covers the implant for ed diagnosis. I do have a 15 percent copay which will make it about a 4000 or so my cost. I would read the exclusions close and make sure your doc gets his notes right.

My bcbs said no as well when asked to explain the stated the comes ause In contract specifically omitting the procedure. I got a copy of coverage and read it. It did say it was not covered but had some wording like “other than caused by organic disease” ? Diabetes is a cause and when I pointed it out they said they didn’t know that could be the cause and said they would send it to a review committee. 6 months later I called back and they said they forgot about it. 2 months later got letter of approval. Going to doctor on Monday. HOPING FOR THE BEST. Anxious

SWO, also check your yearly max out of pocket expense. If it’s $2,500 for example that’s all you would owe minus what you’ve already paid for other out of pocket costs that calendar year. Don’t pay your copay until you find out as the insurance WILL cover the rest.
