Larry10625,
Thank you so much for your encouragement and support.
My intent is not to bother those big ones with “huge successes “ with my small problems, but rather to get responses from those with similar issues.
Those who wentthru same or similar problems might be able to offer good advice, maybe even simple fixes.
I am glad for those who never experienced any issues and I am not envious at all.
Good luck to them!

MK1965, I want to try this one last time. Dr. Eid sends his patients home deflated and has them start cycling the implant at 3 days post-op. When I took the bandages off at 3 days I was totally confused because I thought he sent me home inflated. My penis stuck out at 3 O'clock and was easily firm enough to have intercourse. I called the office and Dr. Eid got on the phone with me and explained that I was not sticking out because I was inflated. He explained that there was no fluid in the cylinders but rather swelling and clotted blood and fluid around the cylinders. He explained that with hot baths that would stimulate circulation that would correct that. NOTE:DO NOT TAKE BATHS UNLESS CLEARED BY YOUR SURGEON. Dr. Eid put waterproofing over the very small incision in the scrotum. Every day I would walk to the mirror, turn to my side and look to see if the angle was improving any. Sometimes I thought my progress had stopped. Now it is not a concern and I am only 8 weeks post-op. When you are just 8 weeks post-op you will see a lot of improvement but we both have a ways to go.

Dr. Eid also explained that the Titan cylinders will become softer from cycling, bending, and absorption of body fat into the cylinder walls but that take more time than the swelling going down. Everything except immediately taking baths that Dr. Eid tells his patients applies to you. When you deflate you will actually be able to bend your penis double and squeeze without any pain it if you want to. The swelling will go down. It will get much softer. You will be able to bend it in any direction or even in half. It wall point lower and lower or you can wear snug briefs that hold it pointed up or to the side. By the end of next week, I am sure you will notice some difference BUT it will take patience and time.

As Larry said, your penis will be on your mind all day every day for several more weeks. Then you will notice that you went several hours and did not even think about it being uncomfortable or awkward. Then, you will go for half a day. Soon it will not be a thought as far as discomfort or awkward is concerned. What Merrix told you is exactly correct. It is NOT only men that have a large penis more affected by gravity as you said that have things improve. It is a process that will happen to you as well. - Good Luck

I believe you can have a good doc and good install and still have problems. I am 6 months out and am having flaccid issues that are problematic. The current diagnosis is that cylinders are stimulating the corpus causing the erectile issue to inflate. It happens most of the time, sometimes worse than others. If my pants are tight you notice if my pants are loose they hang on my penis. There has been a couple of times where I felt I needed to explain. It was with my personal trainer and chiropractor. This is not a full erection, but it is a hard flaccid penis. It is a problem. When my penis is fully deflated it hangs straight down. Titian 22cm with 2.5 RTE, 7 inch erect. I believe I would be having this issue with both brands. I have a Titian and met with a guy that has an AMS both get the job done and look very normal erect.
59 years old. Forth revision 10/2021
Third revision 9/21 moved pump replaced one cylinder AMS CX 21+ 3. Second revision January 31st 2019 AMS CX 21,+2CM RTE. First revision November 15th, 2018 24CM CX .5RTE. Implanted 4/2018, Titian 22CM 2.5 RTE

I said, mine will never hang freely like yours and other big guys.
Why am I wrong to saying it about my own implant?
MK

Well, you didn't say that directly. But indirectly you did.
Because your logic seems to be that if your dick stands straight out after 4 weeks, then it will do so forever.
And since I believe a lot of people have their dicks standing straight out after 4 weeks, including myself and others no matter what implant size, they would also stand straight out forever if they followed the same laws of nature as you. And I believe there is only one set of laws of nature and we all have to obey to it.
But all of them don't stand straight out forever.
So your logic doesn't work. In that sense you are wrong.

You are just too early in the process to be able to say that your dick will always stand straight out.
You have been told this several times by several different people.
But you don't want to listen.
I take that as a sign that you are in a bad place and cannot focus on the positives.
You are too depressed with what you experience currently.
Which I can understand.
I was, as I said, experiencing something similar. I thought after 4 weeks as well that my dick would never go down, it would never allow me to live a normal life. Which seriously made me question the whole idea of getting implanted and maybe the choice of implant.
What kept me positive was that Dr. Eid kept telling me my flaccid would be great, just give it time. Since he had been right in everything else he told me I decided to trust him. And he was right again.
If your doc cannot give you that confidence, and none of us here on FT can, then you will just have to suffer for some time and then, no matter you believe it or not, you will get much better.
How good remains to be seen, but better it will be for sure.
I just think it is a pity that you tell "the world" (well, this is a small community with a small amount of information available, so it is almost the world) that a Titan 18 cm implant will always end up with a 90 degrees flaccid. It is wrong and it probably puts other easily stressed people in doubts as well. For no reason.

And let me explain again why your dick stands straight out.
Of course, if it is inflated, the reason is obvious. My understanding is that in the past it was common with doctors leaving their patients inflated till activation. This was believed to avoid risk of losing size. Nowadays I think the dominating idea is that it is better to leave it only marginally inflated, or even deflated, to allow scar tissues forming around a full reservoir and then activate early to get the best of both worlds. Avoiding lost reservoir capacity and avoiding lost size. If scar tissue forms around a half empty reservoir, in worst case its capacity is restricted forever and full deflation will never be possible.
If you are not inflated, then the reasons are two.
1 - You still have body fluid in your dick from surgery. It is encapsulated in the same space where your implant is. It takes time for it to go away.
2 - The plastic of the Titan is much stiffer and firmer than the AMS. Good and bad. Good because it gives theoretically a harder erection. Good because it is more durable and does not break down as easily. (Titans tend to break down in the tubing department instead, but that is a different story...). Bad because it gives theoretically on average a less natural looking/feeling flaccid. This plastic material needs time to soften. Partially it does so by absorbing fat. This process takes time. My flaccid kept on improving for well over a year. At least.

You are not, after 4 weeks, far enough in this process to have seen the results of 1 and 2 above.

Hang in there.
I can promise you for 100% that you will be in a better place 3 months from now.

To bad I am not patient of Dr. Eid.
Another point that I am just average guy.
I used local guy which is also listed as “Center of Excellence “ same as your doc.
Problem is probably my troubled anatomy. Maybe, it was meant for me to be sexually useless guy.
I am not arguing any more. YOU WON!!!!
Anyway, thanks for the reply. It started to sound somewhat encouraging.

MK my friend, I was never arguing. I feel for you and spend my time responding only because I care and hope the best. Sometimes I am direct and try to crowd a lot of info into a post. I am sorry if I seemed I was being too blunt or rude.

You are NOT a loser and are NOT intended to be a sexually useless guy. Your journey may not be easy or quick but you will make it through. Keep us posted. If you ever need to call and just talk, send me a private message and I will give you my phone number.

Some more comments just to make sure we beat this subject completely to death.
I think the reason I was originally implanted with the Titan is because I had Peyronies. I had some curve to the left and an hourglass. The Titan did indeed straighten my dick out nicely. So, I think Peyronies should be added to the list of reasons why a Titan might be the best choice.. My Titan did not get harder than my LGX. I believe that's a false claim. The Titan cylinders are just made with a stiffer, less pliable material. My flaccid Titan was annoying. It was the same size when inflated or deflated. It wasn't as hard, but it was just as long. If I squeezed it, I could feel the cylinders even when it was deflated.

When I met with Dr. Eid and complained about my Titan, he suggested that the LGX might be a better choice for me. Now that I have the LGX, I think it feels more like the original. My wife says that too. I'm at 4 months now and my pumped up LGX is 14cm X 13.2cm (5.5" X 5.2"). I don't expect to get my pre-ED 7" back, but I'm hoping to get to 6" because the LGX expands and may stretch my dick with time. My LGX also shrinks when it’s deflated. When deflated, my LGX is 7cm X 12cm (2.75 X 4.7"). I can wear anything I want. I no longer need to wear the David Archy separate pocket briefs or any of the other big bulge briefs needed with the Titan. If, for some reason, I wanted my bulge to show, I could just pump it up some.

I'm thankful to my Titan. It corrected my Peyronies curve and hourglass in 8 months. But, I’m glad it’s gone. For me, the LGX is more like the original. Anyone stressing over this decision should ask their surgeon to see, hold, and operate actual working models. Seeing (and feeling) is believing. If your surgeon has a preference, ask him why. If his explanation isn't convincing, get a second opinion. If your surgeon doesn’t have working models, ask him to get them. I told my revision surgeon what I wanted but left it up to his discretion since there could be complications or unknown factors during the surgery. I also gave him a one-page written list of my problems and expectations/hopes which he said he would hang up and refer to during my surgery. I’m extremely happy with my results.
Age 72, wife is 52. 20+1 cm Titan Touch implanted by Dr. Kramer on 18 October 2017. Revision to AMS LGX 21+2 cm on 11 June 2018 by Dr. Carrion at Tampa General. Age-related ED + slight Peyronies bend (left) and slight hourglass in the center.

I have peyronies and I’m currently looking to have a graft with a implant. The surgeon i am looking to go with does both brands of implant, but don’t recommend either. I have a small penis of appox 5 inches pre peyronies with a small girth. I was looking at the Titan as it gave me something for nothing due to the extra girth, but due to the grafting i don’t think i need to extra strength of the Titan. How much girth does the Coloplast give over the ASM and do implants differ in girth or just length. I’m thinking that the AMS may the better when deflated, may not feel so stiff due to being a bit more supple when deflated. I’m at the point that i want to proceed to surgery but unsure which brand of implant to go with.

I have also small penis 4.5” stretched, that is what left after radical prostatectomy where I lost 2” of length and some girth.
I had 6.5” before RP.
Just recently, 31 day ago, I had penile implant and was implanted with Titan Coloplast 18+1RTE.
My inflated and deflated penis is always in the same position sticking out at 90 degrees or 3 o’clock position which is very uncomfortable and it doesn’t matter what I wear, it is always showing as little stiffy which makes me feel uncomfortable around others.
I was told here at FT that eventually will change degree and how it hangs but by now, I don’t see any change and I am worried that might be permanent because of small length outside of my body or doctors call it short distal length.
I hope for angle to change and hopefully it will feel more natural.
