The Opinion of the Wife of GF.

Postby defiant » Sun Sep 23, 2018 8:43 am

This is a topic that has been covered before in roundabout ways but I wanted to revisit it and seek the user experience of implanted men with long-term partners.

Obviously, we all have a concern over what the opinion of a partner will be but for me personally, having read a lot of material and from my own knowledge of self, I don’t think I’ll be bothered with the opinion of one night stands or FWBs, let’s say,

Moreso, I am concerned over how a long term partner might view a man with the implant; how girlfriends have reacted when being told, how wives have embraced or rather not embraced the decision to get an implant, that prospect or indeed experience of a two month downtime period whilst awaiting revision and of course how women you have been with for months, years or decades think of your sexual dynamic. That loss of natural arousal or the feeling they don’t command your erection.

How is the sexual dynamic in your relationships?

Thanks!

37, mild to moderate ED since age 21, 3 Dopplers - 1 result VL & 3 later results 'no physical problem', dependent on cialis (efficacy now waning), overcame Lymophoma at age 26, ED causing immense/profound psychological distress. Considering implant.

My wife just loves my dick now. I use to have to bug her to give me head once and it would only be for about 30 seconds... now, she does it all on her own and 3 or 4 times and seem to love it. Every now and then I will ask her a question that compares my old dick to now and I have serious doubts about her answer. I think she is trying very hard to not make me feel bad about the past. I have told her over and over again that I will not be offended but I still think she is trying to spare my feelings. :)

But she seems to be loving and supportive. And that’s of course the most important thing.

Very true. Lisa has been through hell and back with all of my surgeries and many times I think that had it been me, I probably would have left but, nope, right there by my side. I am one lucky guy. :)

My wife has been very supportive of my decision to have the implant. Since the surgery, she has asked me twice now if I was happy with the way it has turned out, (the answer was "VERY HAPPY!"). She is happy that we can have intercourse now, but is concern that I do not always climax :( . I just tell her that with time it will get better. She hasn't said it but I think she likes how hard I can make it, she just loves playing with it, no oral  , but maybe in time that too will cum :o .

I have known my partner for 9 years and have been off an on several times. We have been living together for the last two years. She was very accepting of my ED right from the beginning and always said that it wasn't my cock and clearly not my money that she was interested in. During this period she has had a hysterectomy and her libido has diminished greatly. However, she is VERY hot and is willing to put on a VERY good show, but I suspect that she holds back for fear of hurting my feelings :( Having said that, she is looking forward to having a cock that works whenever she is in the mood. That works for me because I'm always in the mood! LOL

My wife is no less pleased by my implant than I am. She was very accommodating to every phase of this battle but she has spontaneously told me that she is glad I did this and "I never really thought the VED was a problem when that is what we had but it is great not to have to worry with that and just have sex". She has initiated sex a few times in the past 3 weeks and woke me up in the middle of the night once. She wanted to feel it get hard as I pumped it. She loves the fact I am more capable in some positions than I was.

Not much for her not to like since it looks natural, feels natural, and is natural except for a thin plastic liner in the cavernosal. The rest of the meat is what I was born with.

My wife was neither opposed to nor in favor of my implant. She said the decision was entirely mine, and not to think I was in any respect doing it for her. I went ahead with the surgery, and true to her word she showed no interest in it whatever.

That's really to bad, I feel very blessed that I have a wife that cares about how I feel and still enjoys a sex life, perfect? No, but I wouldn't trade her for anything!!!

I always wanted her to wake me up in the middle of the night but it has only happened once in over 30 years... I guess she loves her sleep too much. :(
