auto inflation or something else

This has been what my flaccid penis has looked like for the first 4 mounts after implant. I am 5 months out now. Looks my be deceiving because it is not pointing out, but it was firm enough that I could have sex if i really wanted to. My erect length is 7 inches and flaccid is probably not much shorter. I had pressure all the time and hurt most of the time. I felt for sure that this was caused by back-flow issues with my coloplast titian. I had a MRI done and my cylinders were not inflated. What I am being told is the cylinders are stimulating the tissue in my corpus cavernosum causing tissue to engorge. I believe the Doctor is correct. I have been on frank talk for a few months and have not heard of this before. Anyone have any knowledge about his?

My doctor prescribe something to help with this. The new prescription has help some. I no longer have the pain all the time and the pressure is reduced.

Any thoughts.

I am no doctor but it looks pretty vascular to me. If your doctor thinks the same, and the MRI, in fact, shows the cylinders are TOTAlLy deflated then that is your answer. Can you stimulate an erection or partial erection without inflating?

Not sure what you are taking to stop the process but I would be hesitant to kill any natural vascular process, at least any more than needed to kill any pain. Having some natural blood flow will serve you well for glans engorgement, rounding our your penis etc.

PS: I assume you deflate while laying down to make sure you are getting total deflation. When you squeeze your penis very firmly and at the same time squeeze the deflate button very hard, you will feel deflation if you have any fluid in the cylinders.

When I am totally deflated I can feel flat cylinders the entire length of my penis and folds in at least one or two places on each cylinder. When I press on the flat cylinders I can feel them move around inside the chambers.

I have the same thing but it comes and goes. I'm not nearly as blessed as you, but I can be totally deflated and soft one moment, then I get a semi and firm, then it gets soft again, so I know it is not auto-inflation. I wake up at night, like the old days, and I'm very firm, then in the morning it is soft. No complaints though :D .

Hawkman,

Yes I can be fully deflated. I have a fold that is only there when I am deflated. Before the new med I was ready to have the implant taken out because of the constant pain. It was just to much all the time. I can get a partial erection on my own. The pain is gone for the most part and the engorment is less, but pretty consistent. I really don’t want to have anything else done , surgery, to try to fix the issue. The issue is the new drug is not working as well as it originally did and i have only been on it for three weeks.

That far out ether way you should not have pain. Is the pain in the shaft or gland?

Hey Andy,

The pain was only in the shaft. My shaft has a slight curve when it is partially inflated and it would hurt at the curve and hurt just from the constant inflation. I also have a fold or dog ear when the cylinders are not inflated and pressure pushing on the dog ear hurt as well.
