This is the issue that I’m dealing with. Gonna see the surgeon next week about an implant and I’m insulin dependent diabetic using an insulin pump. Real concerns about infection

Let me make something a little clearer. I asked the AMS RN several times how she could match a perfect measurement to within 1 millimeter? My research showed that no product was made in 1 millimeter increments, they all came 1/2 cm = 5 mm. SMOKE AND MIRRORS! She never gave me a straight answer just said don't worry about it I'll take care of it. So here is the truth, she knowingly lied about the exact measurement hoping that it would never become an issue. I ended up with the very worst measurement possible! Doctor Saracino finally admitted to making "Minor adjustments" when I cornered him on it. The rep was simply saying that the doctor gives her his exact measurement (they are never exact maybe once in a lifetime) and she assembles the implant based on that. Her implant is manufactured to within 1 mm of that measurement. She knew that was not my question but like our lying Dems answered the question that I did not ask.
I'm a Dem born and raised generations of Dems. That just not justify lying.
To reiterate the RN does NOT NEVER tell the Doctor what size to implant. He always tells her what he feels best serves him. not the patient.

Doug, I have no idea what you are even talking about or why something would ever get so complicated or convoluted. My surgeon and many others walk into the O. R. with literally several implants and RTE's (which are seldom used) and perform surgery, choosing the best possible pairing of the right prosthesis for your penis. When the surgery is complete, The surgeon orders another prosthesis like the one they used to replenish their inventory. On some occasions, they may try one prosthesis and trash it in favor of a Better match., in which case they would order two replacements for their inventory. Some say I am anal-retentive and that I can drive people crazy seeking information and analyzing details but I never felt a need to contact prosthesis representatives prior to my surgery.

Doug,
You had your implant on 8/8/18 which was exactly 44 days ago which is barely over 6 weeks.
Let it everything settle down and heal properly and see what might it look after healing and after you tested it for functionality. It might be okay or even better then what you thought in early days.
I think you went for implant with already preset mind on failure and complications and that is what you have problem to clear your preemptive mind.
I am wondering if you already have malpractice suit in your mind?
I apologize in advance for being blunt.
And, btw. you are doing disservice to potential future implanties.
Sorry bro!

Doug,
As one who has been ridiculed, called a liar, full of BS, and delusional, I sympathize with you. You are doing NO disservice to share with us your dilemma. There are Drs out there who shouldn't be allowed to be near another man's dick. Yours is obviously one of them. If a Dr. can't or won't be straight up with you. Find one who will be. There are great ones out there who see more than money. Thanks for giving mine a chance.

Guys I am bleeding from my urethra again. Same deal as 5 days after surgery when my doc said it was only residual from the catheter. I doubt that has anything to do with this now or then. As for a law suit right now I just want this fixed. My wife and I are already discussing having this thing taken out and shrinking away to nothing. If that happens yes someone will pay. But for now we will wait unless the bleeding gets worse. I can't use the VED. I can't use the pump to cycle. I'm shrinking which causes even more right tip pressure. My only good choice is to flaccid stretch myself daily to slow down atrophy. If that sends bad vibes to others. oh well!
I cannot just sit around until the right tip pushed through into my urethra. I have an appt next month to hopefully set up having my pump moved. But that could be a month away. This is a now problem. Flaccid stretching seems to have helped for now. If that keeps up I'm good to go. As soon as the pump is moved I will stop the problem using VED until some one some where can figure out how to fix my tips. If not then next year out it comes for good.
A doctor in Gainesville is looking things over. We'll see. My 4 years of research before implant showed no fix for uneven tips. It's just a roll of the dice your doc can fix it or not and no one cares but you the deformed patient who bleeds from the penis.
My mistake was in assuming that the AMS rep had told my surgeon that I would never accept uneven tips. I told her very clearly that I would never consent to surgery otherwise. She led me to believe that they would be within 1 mm. I took her word. Big mistake. And yes it takes more time but every surgeon can get you within 1 mm just takes time and skill. If they do not have either one then they are in the wrong business.
If we were all heart patients every one of us would be dead.

Just read through some very early posts. Alibaba gave me the answer already, the one I had already gotten before implant the one I hoped never to hear. My ace in the hole was Dr Kramer, the fix it guy. But he couldn't fix Alibaba's curving. No one wants to dig deeper into the bottom of the chamber hoping they won't accidentally punch through while trying to make things straight. So basically I'm screwed for life.
I may try to find a plastic surgeon who will push up the left rte about 3/16 inch and sew it into place. That might work? Grasping at straws. The killer is that I knew this could be a problem got confirmation that it would never happen and when it did they all just act like it's normal never should have expected anything else doesn't matter that they lied oh well live with it.
Guys I am not alone. Surgeons take no control over your fit. Sure many will make sure you do fit one way or another, but not your normal Joe. All in a days work, roll of the dice. I got snakes eyes and so will others. And I said I would never gamble with my penis. They said don't worry you're not then rolled the dice anyway. Well there is one sure fix. Remove it. If no fix comes up before sometime next year out it comes. Problem solved.

Doug, I differ! Your one mistake was dealing with a surgeon that needs a product rep in the operating room with him advising him. A master would never do that. I do not want you to despair, however. Call your surgeon and tell him of your complications and tell him you need an appointment NOW!. Discuss these issues with him and make notes or take someone to take notes as you talk. If he will not see you then you must get to someone on the opposite end of the spectrum to where he is, not someone from the middle of the spectrum. It is time for someone you would consider a master. I do not think you should contact a plastic surgeon to mess with an implant. I doubt the one would. IF you are really concerned, stop messing around and contact a top-of-the-line surgeon. Someone qualified to write the book on implants, not someone that has an adviser from the prosthesis company giving them input.

I wish the best for you and hope this will be behind you soon.

Kramer reduced the curve which was substantial in 2 directions if you can find the pictures I posted of the old AMS. He could have made it perfect with a couple more hours of surgery and graft but it comes down to would it be worth the risk for the minor amount left? Would I like to see it perfect in the mirror? Yes. Am I willing to accept what I have? Yes. The good part is all I have to do to have it straight is pump it up all the way often and then wait a few minutes, I think I timed 6 the other night, and the implant straightens it out. Considering the long list of issues with the last implant, this is minor. The glans is a little crooked but it does not fold over like the last one did and it also straightens as soon as I pump it up. How much of this is a result of the first disastrous implant I do not know, but if I were to have a new one, it would be on my fix it list. The best thing you can do right now is relax and don't stress as much as possible till you can get in to a doctor who specializes in fixing other doctor's screw ups. Walsh in NW, Karpman in the west, Lavine ( despite I do not like him at all and was told he had quit implanting but appears to still be) in the Midwest, Eid in the NE, Kramer in the East. All have reputations of diagnosing and fixing some really fucked up shit. Hang on man. If your doctor cannot help you, ask for a referral on the spot and take the phone numbers of some of the reputable doctors with you for them to start dialing. I'd say cheers but I am not in to cheerful mood lately and certainly you aren't either so just be strong. Now is no time to be a girl.

Alibaba,
Just curious- what was the issue with Levine? The only issue I had was that his FellowMD and PA handled most of my interactions/decisions through the process. I thought this was standard practice since he was so hi-end. He was quick, concise, but curt. I also attributed this to his business. It, overall it’s been a good experience and yes he still does implants. So far so good in the healing process and I’m 1/4 inch less than pre-op when flaccid but aroused. I go for activation in two weeks
