Deflation safety

Postby DNQ231 » Mon Sep 17, 2018 6:35 am

Hi all,

This may look ridiculous, but I was wondering about the safety of squeezing the penis when deflating. Is it possible to misplace the cylinders, or pinch the urethra when doing this? Do you need to be gentle with it, and is there a technique you need to follow? I'm really unsure about just how stable the cylinders are in the penis, and am worried about disrupting the placement.

I am 7 weeks post op.

Thanks in advance.

When I went for my activation appointment my surgeon inflated and deflated my penis to show me how to do it. He squeezed mine very aggressively and said I wouldn't hurt it.
I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.

Somewhat related. Is the urethra squeezed at all to the point where cumming is affected? Does it perhaps make it better because you shoot farther. Or, none of the above.
Implanted with Titan 1/15/19 with Dr. Eid.

Not positive but think none of the above.

I noticed a clearly more skinny urine stream for the first 4 weeks after surgery. I had a very robust stream since I have no prostate to restrict the stream. The one day it was suddenly back to normal. I am guessing it was inflammation in the penis but since I urinate with a deflated penis it could have been a fold of the new stiff cylinder depressing on the urethra.

Dr. Eid says that in a penis with larger girth the Titan gives a more round appearance rather than oval because the cylinders meet and form a barrier to push the spongiosum (and the urethra it surrounds) down. Now the degree of impact that has on your inflated shape is determined by whether your spongiosum engorges any from stimulation. My point is that if it is pushed down rather than clamped between the two cylinders, then there is no restriction on the urethra since that is what happens with a natural erection.

I think these implants are made of tough stuff. I push my AMS and completely drained it as very little of my implant is inside.

There is one doctor who has a video where he uses 1 hand to squeeze the bulb and wads up the penis with his other hand. I mean literally wads it up like a piece of paper every time he deflates the guys.

Do not use a mangle to roll it flat. Do not use an iron and board. Do not slam the freezer lid on it nor a car door. Do not us pliers or a vise. Otherwise, I think these things are tougher than anything your dick itself can take. Cheers man, you are good.

Are the cylinders meant to be flat when deflated? With the way I currently deflate, I can compress the cylinders, but they bounce back into being cylindrical, and I wonder if this is because I have not deflated enough.

I think this is the nature of the Beast. Maybe someone with a Titan will chime in. My AMS deflates and hangs like a non implanted dick and completely drains and stays that way. The majority of my implant is outside my body, very little is in the crus. It had 2 stackable RTEs. A 4cm and a 1.5.
