I don't know what you want to call it but if I squeeze too hard too many times my LGX simply does not deliver any more fluid. I can actually feel the tubes when it stops. The bulb just keeps on inflating quickly and deflating with almost no effort at all can go on and on no change. But if I stop and wait the pump is hard to squeeze again.
I find that squeezing slowly eliminates the problem. After it is too hard to squeeze easily I use micro pumps to finish filling the cylinders to more than I can take. I was told ALL AMS pumps are the same. My LGX came with the pump already attached.

I have always pumped slowly. Somewhere in the instructions it said " the small tubes restrict the flow, so squeeze the pump slowly" and it will be easier to pump. And easier on your hands/ fingers. To top off to 110% I do quick short jabs also.
