Ok I need some real input here, which approach is the best for implant placement?
My urologist says infrapubic because it heals faster with less pain, he said most of his patients healed in two weeks.
The urologist at the seminar I attended said scrotal is better because he has better angle to measure giving best length. Healing time 4-6 weeks!
I asked my urologist about that he said it doesn’t matter which approach, the length he measures would be the same even if he went scrotal.
I’m all for faster healing and less pain but I also want maximum lenght and I seem to have conflict of opinion between urologists.
Let me hear from you guys.

I asked my Uro if he did the scrotal approach since I thought I heard mentioned that it might be less invasive.
He seemed offended that I would say that.

I'm scared shitless to have him implant me when the time comes.
The only FT member I know of who used him had a serious infection and almost died.
He said he does several each week, but I'd like to get a more warm and fuzzy feeling about him.

He is cited on the AMS website as the go to guy here.
I hesitate to mention him by name.
I didn't see him mentioned when guys stated their implant doc.

Do you prefer a doctor that it does to you infrapubic if it has done 5000 escrotales?

One unarguable fact is that a verticle 3 stitch incision on the seam of your scrotum is invisible even on close inspection.

Other than that the proponents of each argue the benefits of their approach. Scrotal approach guys will say that the tubing is routed better and has less chance of being felt at the base of the penis, especially on lean men.

There is also a third approach available.

I do not know about feeling the tubes scrotal approach. I do know I am skinny and I do feel the tubes at the base of my penis with pubic approach. It might cause problems with rough pubic bone bashing. Anyone know where I could get some of that. I only need it for research

I think that is where they cut all the way around just below the glans. Peel all the skin down to the pubis and do the install. Sounds like torture. Skinned alive.

My urologist uses both and decides for each patient which method is best. I am a nude model for artists and sometimes shave my pubes so I preferred the Penoscrotal method due to no visible scar.
