I just kind of wanted to follow up with a visit I had with a Dr. in Oh. I was hoping for him to just tell me. Yep, you have peyronies and the only way to fix it permanently is to either have the surgery or get an implant. Did not go that way at all. One thing I can say is that he listened to me, gave me a very thorough examination. First time that has happened. He also really questioned my fall and why I have not had anyone conduct either an ultrasound and blood flow tests to see if I might have a physical reason since my ED and Peyronies showed up after I fell. Told him I wasnt the dr., all I could do is keep asking and trying to find a dr. to help me. So long story short, he does not want to put surgery on the table until I have those tests done. His view was that it would be a bad idea to implant until we have all the facts. Then he would have no problem with either doing plication, or excision and grafting, or installing an implant. (He did refer me to a Dean Knoll in Nashville for the excision and grafting surgery if it was determined that was the best way to go, who is referenced a few times in posts, supposed to be one of the best at that type of surgery in the US, not my opinion what I was told). His view was it all depends on the outcomes of the ultrasound and blood flow analysis. He did think the titan would fix my curve and ED if it was determined that was the best course of action, but wanted that off the table for now. Due to my wifes surgery coming up, I told him, Ok I have some time, but I plan on having this fixed by spring one way or another. What do I do in the meantime. As everyone mentioned here, TRACTION. I mentioned VED, and he just pushed the traction, either until the Peyronies is fixed on its own, with surgery, or an implant. Just as an FYI, he preferred the Penismaster pro. I have seen a couple docs, one pushed the andro peyronies, and one the Restorex. Opinions, go figure, everyone has one. Oh also wants me to switch to Cialis. Told him it was way expensive. Take it as well until we get the options worked out. Also no mention at all of xiaflex injections. Not one word.

I will say I have been using the andro peyronies, and do not think I am getting any shorter.

To summarize, I just wanted a final answer and did not get it. I will admit, if my outcome is the implant, not sure if I will let this dr do it or not, but will be open minded. He would not discuss it very much other than it would fix the problem, if that is what I needed done. When I wanted to get into specifics about his implant work, he just said not to get ahead of myself and let him see if there is a medical reason for the ED first. Then we can see about the Peyronies. He did mention that it was OK that I was already on Pentox, and to double my testosterone dose to get me up to the high end of normal, instead of mid range. First urologist to tell me that. I guess I should be happy he did not want to start cutting into body parts.

My saga continues. So more tests in a couple of weeks. So frustrating.
