Does anyone know if Dr Eid still does surgeries in the hospital or just the surgery center? My insurance pays almost 100% for hospital since I will be doing this alone. Much better to be in the care of a hospital for a few days than stuck to a bed alone at home.

He does most of his surgeries in the Manhattan Eye, Nose, and Throat Hospital very near his office. The hospital does mostly outpatient surgeries on a very wide range of conditions including orthopedic, plastic surgery etc. but does have beds. It is a long established hospital that has been around for over 150 years. https://www.northwell.edu/find-care/loc ... t-hospital

I know he sometimes does use another hospital but I thought it was based on a specific set of circumstances. Did you require general anesthesia or have any cardiac issues etc? I also know that the Manhattan Eye, Eay & Throat Hospital is a division of Lenox Hill Hospital.

I will be doing this on my own and won't be able to withstand a 4 hour drive in a car service I am using. After 3 days I will be better able to lay in the back of a car until I reach home and continue with Dr Eids instructions. What was the level of care at Lenox?

My wife drove me 4 hrs home after surgery with Dr. Eid and it was EASY except for the last 30 minutes which were a little uncomfortable.
