Blood flow to the penis
Blood flow to the penis
So I had a question about the blood flow given that venous leakage was my issue. Where does the blood go that went to cavernous chambers that the prosthesis has replaced?

Re: Blood flow to the penis
The cavernosal tissue is crowded by the chambers but not removed. Blood flow is not interrupted or diverted by the surgery. Some men even report still getting some degree of erection if aroused assuming they did so before implant surgery.

I still do get mild erections since my implant. It is not the full engorgement like before the implant, but it is there no doubt about it! My penis is a little fuller then with the same amount of an erection by pumping it, I would say about 40% of a full hard on.

Andy I take it you must not have gotten much in the way of erections before surgery or you would have never had the surgery.

I could get the erections but could not keep them, would go down to a semi when it counted most. Soon it got into my head that I was going to fail, then it didn't mater what I did or how hard I would try, I could not keep an erection during intercourse. I had been using injections for over 12 years and this all started during the last year, every now and then at first, then more often as time went on to the point I just could not keep it hard enough for penetration, and only being 5.5" didn't help ether. I'm very happy I have the implant, and even thou I have lost about an 1/2", I think I will get that back with time and use. So far intercourse is good and will get better as I get some of the sensitivity back. My wife is happy and that's what counts

Yeah it's strange how much brain space a fainting erection can work you to insanity. I absolutely dreaded any romantic contact cuz I knew my erection would come then go away. My wife hated it as much as I did.
