Titan Auto Inflation - SOLUTIONS ???

I have heard some suggest that after deflating the Titan, they pump once or twice and this in some way prevents auto inflation??? That makes no sense to me since it seems that should reset the one way valve to allow saline to flow from reservoir to the cylinders.

The origin of that advice may come from the Titan manual: (emphasis added)

"VERY IMPORTANT:
All patients with a “sticky” pump should be advised to cycle their device daily to prevent
recurrence. They should also be instructed to pump the device once after full deflation to
ensure the valve has transferred after usage."

I don't know if this prevents auto inflation but I continue to do it and no auto inflation.

this sounds totally typical and normal. I am the same way with coloplast titan 22 CM.

Over a year, things have in general loosened up -- meaning that my flacid is more flacid now (ie, no concerns about parading around the locker room).

Agree that auto-inflation was noticeable during the first year --- not really much of an issue, but I seem identical to your experience.

I Disagree that you should try doing a wrap --- but it will be great for you to tell us what Eid says. Being aware of the concept that you do not want a pseudocapsule around the reservoir is smart; however, fixating on concerns about the reservoir pseudocapsule seems "too obsessive" to me.

I had to smile because Tangerine is not the first person in my life to suggest I can get a bit obsessive. After a couple more sessions I did, however, wrap my deflated penis with a wrap of that sticks-to-itself stretch bandage that does not stick to skin or hair. I only left it on for about an hour. I just wanted to hold all fluid in the reservoir long enough to make sure I was getting some stretch on the reservoir capsule. I thought I might do that an hour or two every night until Dr. eid, or Coloplast gives me some answers. To my surprise, I had no inflation when I took it off and none all night. I only did it once more for about20 minutes. Now after I deflate I just continue to squeeze my penis for a few minutes after I release the deflate button. I cannot even theorize about what is going on. I am not so naive to think that just because "A" (1 hour wrap") preceded "B" (auto inflation stopped) that "a" caused "B".

I called Coloplast and a female rep returned my call about the Titan Touch but I missed the call. I have a call back into her direct number. I want the official scoop on how this is supposed to work and to give input that there is a ton of confusion on what should be a very basic concept.

The elastic wrap remedy seems to be a great idea! Your body does need to learn to make room for that reservoir. I had more than one doctor tell me the more belly fat a person has the easier the reservoir part is. Cheers man. Whatever works. Innovation of the finest degree.

Seriously the deflate and then pump 1 pump to close the valve from open to reservoir position which would be the deflate position, to check valve operation from pump to cylinder makes sense. Have you tried deflate and I mean a good deflate, squeeze all you can out of the cylinders and perineal area, then pump it 1 pump? Several told me that fixed their 3:30 and 4 O'clocks they could never deflate all the way. I always do that with mine and no issue though Merrix says he does not need to. I have to agree with him in the needs no more respect as his fine cock on (page 45[?] of his thread looks fine enough to need NOTHING. Where is that Swede? Merrix, could you weigh in? Cheers.

And to the creator of the thread, relax. You're just a few weeks out. Things will keep getting better for a long, long time. This issue has just kept getting better for me all the time up till now.
Combination of many factors. Body fluids disappearing/healing. The pump getting broken in. Cylinders getting softer. You getting used to your implant.
My flaccid was a total joke at four weeks. It pointed to 4:00 and was as big as my natural erection. Huge issues hiding it in my suit pants at work.
But it gets better. Now it looks pretty good. Hangs straight down. Look for pics in my thread "My Journal".
Accept things will take time, and that it is worth every second.

I have the Titian 22 and almost 5 months in. I have the classic pump and having issues with auto inflation. It is not a full erection but I could have sex with. Locker room issues, pain from being inflated for to long. Trouble sleeping because of pressure and sleeping on an erection.

Saw doc and he thinks it is a pump problem. Also have some on going pain from implant. I had a MRI and will get the results next week. Looks like at least a pump replacement, but will know more next week.

Do you have the one touch or the older style squeeze deflation valve? I was implanted Oct 1 and I feel I have to keep squeezing it down. It doesn't get erect enough for sex, just uncomfortable. I have the older style valve with the two bars to deflate.

I'm sure you've already heard this but it could be in part because your saline sac is being squeezed by your body. Not sure how to fix that.
