New to this, some questions

Postby smphead » Fri Aug 24, 2018 12:32 am

Hello,

I'm new to this. Divorced male, 40 years old. Have ED due to the use of Finasteride 15 years ago. On cialis but it doesn't give as much as i would see.

While surfing i came across the penis implant.

I have a few questions.

I consider Dr David Ralph because i read a lot of goog things.

1. What are the costs?
2. Does Dr Ralph prevent losing length?
3. When i have intercourse with a wife will she notice? Imagine she squeeze my balls and deflete my penis :)
4. Other recommendations in Europe, especially in the Netherlands, were i'm from.
5. Are here other fellows from the Netherlands?
6. How hard is the mental case for younger man?
7. Is it a problem that at my age i will to change the implant a few times?

Thank you very much.
1978, male Netherlands. ED due Propecia use. Currently using cialis.

3. If anyone squeezes your balls they will notice but it is impossible for a partner to accidentally deflate you. - you could tell her you are the proud owner of a bionic dick and are the new and improved male 2.0 or you could lie and tell her you were born with a 3rd testicle and it calcified and you just like to hang onto it.

You could expect to need a revision every 5 - 10 years (or every 2 - 15 years) assuming implants never improve and assuming a truck does not run over you. ;). I think the actual implant is guaranteed for life.

I will let others field your other questions.

Welcome to FT. I live in the states and am 62 so the only question on your list I can answer is about a wife knowing. There are guys here who have one night stands and pump up ahead of time and the woman never knew about the implant. If you have been in a relationship and the woman knew what your natural erections were like, I would say she would notice some difference. For most guys who suffer from ED, their partners are simply happy their guy is back in the game with a hard dick. I had ED for 30 years and my saint of a wife stood by me. We were both elated after I got my implant that both of us can orgasm again and if I cum first, I can keep going until she is fully satisfied.

I love when my wife plays with my balls and tugs on them. She has never deflated my dick when she does it. The deflate valve is small and needs a good push so you have to be pretty intentional about wanting to deflate. At first if wasn’t very pleasant having my balls pushed against the pump bulb, but now I don’t notice it.

I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.

I'd guess the inclusive cost would be in the region of GBP15,000, although I have no direct information about Dr Ralph's charges.
For a private patient, as you would be, I wouldn't expect there to be any significant waiting list.
A phone call or email to the private clinic where Dr Ralph practises (not his NHS practice) will probably get you a quick and more definitive answer to both those questions.

I love my penile implant, and so does my wife. I can echo what the other guys have posted. Yes, she can notice it in my scrotum; and no, it feels different from a testicle so the wrong thing wouldn't be squeezed; no, it cannot (as far as I know) be accidentally inflated or deflated; and it is so wonderful to always be able to get hard and also to stay hard as long as I want to, even after I climax. It is totally inside the body so you look completely normal in situations like locker rooms, and you will not -- repeat not -- set off any metal detectors. :D

Well thank you very much all. Luckily not set off at a metal detector.

As a single male i think the hardest thing is what to say to a woman i have sex with.

I had a very bad experience 15 years ago where i could't perform. She said this to others and this was traumatic for me.

So you can understand i'm a little afraid that a woman will find out.

I have to have realistic lie that it's there for another medical reason, a medic reason not related to ED. Anyone a good suggestion?

And an additional plus is that it changes little "growers" like me into "show-ers"! (Mine added 1.5" to the flaccid/uninflated length.) :D
