Scrotoplasty is it worth it

Postby Floppy » Thu Aug 23, 2018 10:13 am

Can anyone thats has had this done comment on it. It's my understanding that it is purely cosmetic it requires more healing time delays the start of cycling and return to sex.

I just had it done 6 days ago. Jury still out. Yes there is additional scarring and I am worried about that. However I think it is worth it. I can already see but it makes my dick look longer. White webbing went half way up to my penis. When I put on a cock ring or a condom it would roll up to where the web started. I think it's true that it's delaying my recovery and delaying my sex. But I think it is wort h.

The increase in pain is minimal but noticeable. I am at day 7 my stitches and swelling are still a factor. I am guessing that all of that will be gone in the next 7 days.

The excess webbing pulls your dick down even though I'm not inflated I am optimistic I will have higher angle

My recommendation is to do it.

It's worth it! Makes your dick look longer and better. I had mine done when they did the implant, it's no big deal, it heals up much faster then the implant does, and I had no pain from it. The only complaint was from the desolvable stitches, the ends poked at my scrotum and was annoying so when I went in for my 2 week check up I had the nurse trim them, all was fine after that. Get'er done!

Floppy,
I had scrotoplasty. This has been discussed before. Go to your search box and enter the word Scrotoplasty. There are numerous posts that come up. Scroll down to my reply from Aug. 9th. I posted pix of my before and after. I had an extra incision, but it healed well and there is no scar.

I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.

I also had scrotoplasty and other than cosmetic I see no advantage, it makes your penis look a little longet but I do not think that it gives you any additional length to penetrate with. No healing issues whatsoever .
The negative that I find is that I feel that it reduced my scrotum size. My sack used to hand and sway before the scrotoplasty but now it is always snug.
The Dr that screwed up my original implant also did the scrotoplasty at the same time and I feel took too much of the web off. But I am not a Dr so he still knows more than me, but less than the Dr that did my revision. JMHO.

I discussed scrotoplasty with my surgeon, and he said that he was not convinced that I needed it. Usually, he reserves scrotoplasty for situations where the penis scrotum goes half way up the penis shaft or if there is a reason to think that the scrotum web might get in the way of maxumum penetration. That was not the case for me.

Remember, the giant fear in implant surgery is that there will be an infection, so this might be a case where less invasive (shorter scar) might be safer to decrease infection chances.

Yes, I agree that your penis will look longer, but only when viewed while you're erect with a viewing angle at or below your penis. If you are standing in the shower with a woman, it likely will not be a big deal visually, even if erect.

So, i opted to keep things as simple as possible with my surgery and decided against the scrotoplasty since my scrotal web is mild and really only goes up a third of the length of my shaft and it really does not get in the way of condoms or penetration.
