I'm scheduled to get an implant in October. I just had an unrelated surgery that will take 4-6 weeks to heal up. Question, I have read that some men have cold glands after an implant and that the glands no longer grow after arousal. Has anyone used Viagra or Cialis after an implant and what impact did it have on your glands?

If an implant is done correctly, whatever blood flow you have to your glans you will keep after surgery. Those with cold glans after implant usually find that viagra does help. Hit or miss really.

The ED with cold glans is caused in a lot of guys from nerve removal during a Prostatectomy. Pills do nothing if you have no nerve endings. Injections do give engorgement but I am not going to stick. a needle in my glans. There is something called Trimix gel that can be used to engorge the glans. I think it is put inside the eureathra.

The answer is this simple. Take a Viagra now. Whatever it does to the glans and spongiosium it will do after an implant since implant surgery does nothing to either of these connected structures. For clarity, the spongiosium is the the smaller 3rd colum of erectile tissue that surrounds the urethra and ends as the glans.

Whatever gives a full glans now (Viagra, sexual stimulation) will do so after an implant.
If nothing you do now currently causes engorgement then it is unlikely to do so after an implant.

I take 20mg Adcirca which is the same as Cialis 2x a day and it does nothing for mine. Blue eye Viagra worked better before an implant and especially so did back pain Levitra but I've not tried either since the implant.

I see a difference with Viagra. Cialis never worked for me. I'd get a headache before I got a hard on.
