VED with penile implant: what do famous doctors recommend?

Before one gets an implant the use of a VED is highly beneficial - but what about it once a penile implant has been installed? After reading different opinions I would like to know what drs like Eid and Kramer think about it. Please let me know.

My doctor (who is an international professor of urology and urology surgery recommends the VED for 5 minutes 3 to 5 times per day. Him and another Dr. wrote a study paper on it and I have the things he has written.

Hi Larry,
Should the implant be pumped up before using the VED? Any suggestion on the level of vacuum pressure to be applied?
