My question I’ve going in my mind is Dr Eid who is a very respectable surgeon gets his clients to start cycling as early as 4days after surgery due to eliminate scarring but many surgeons recommended not to cycle until fully healed I will follow surgeons advice to not touch it for 6 weeks

Anyone on here who started cycling early than 3-4 weeks

Jamie;
Each surgeon does things differently. If your doctor said 3-4 weeks, then that's what you should do. As for scarring, again, they each have their way and beliefs. If your doctor said leave it alone then LEAVE IT ALONE. :)

So if your doctor’s track record is good, do what he says! LEAVE IT ALONE!

Do things as PRESCRIBED by the specialist. And I’m sure in 6 weeks you’ll be laughin’!

Jamie,
At least you got some instructions. Didn't even see my tag team docs after surgery nothing but a sheet of std instructions that didn't say much. Oh the best one was no sex before follow up visit. Really? As if that were even possible unless of course they just forgot me. I scheduled my own 6 week visit just to be sure they did not. Today is 7 for me and you think you were wrapped? I could not even see the catheter tip going in, total mummy. Waited 48 hours to take it off and pull the catheter which I did not even need was actually peeing around the catheter and all over myself. No problem with good flow there.
Anyway docs do whatever gives them less trouble and frees up their time for others. They are in business like everyone else and cannot customize treatments. I get that. Could not afford Eid would have went with Kramer but 19 miles away compared to a thousand and it just made sense to stay local.
By all means do as your doc says but do not be shy to call and ask for a personal update. My apt today is for surgical testosterone pellet implants. I've been on them for years and my doc quit doing that so my new uro volunteered. I very much plan to drop my pants and have him take a very good look while I'm there. Good luck and FOLLOW YOUR DOCS ADVISE. The LGX will stretch your scarring. But be patient may take months or longer.
I asked mine to pump me 50 to 70% like Eid and others do. He agreed to 2 pumps 20%. Big mistake. Those guys either have dead dicks or are high for 2 weeks. No way I could do that much. If I do this again, no pumps please!

So, regarding your catheter... there is a balloon near the rubber end. When the catheter is inserted into the bladder, the balloon is inflated. This a) seals the bladder so that urine has no choice but to go through the catheter and b) that balloon prevents the catheter from pulling through the urethra while inflated. It sounds like either someone forgot to inflate it or else there is a leak in it. :)

Day 4 update

I’m at home now walking is bearable and can even drive most of my pain coming from right above penis and burning sensations to left side of the groin

Still taking endone/OxyContin during the nighttime so I can sleep

At what point is it safe to be doing hot baths??

No red blotches from bruising on penis

Ice on off seems to help

I’m starting to having questions for people who has the AMS700 LGX device has it replicated an erection that can be created from Trimix injections
Or more narrow used to be very thick and while understanding the cylinders expand but what is there limitations

My catheter. I get why they use it. The other night because I had gone to work my swelling increased from nothing to big balloon. Well medium balloon anyway for me it was alarming don''t know what I should have expected but others had said they went to work after 5 days no problems so. Anyway I iced too low for too long must have shrunk my prostate gland. Tried to pee and could feel it trying but no joy. Strained harder and man did that burn! For two hours after. This was post catheter. So thank goodness for the catheter the first night. After that not needed. Makes me mad when I am treated like a number. But oh well that's what I paid good money for. NOT.
Larry the first night I felt a BM on the way it was about 1 AM very dark fumbled to grab the bag was on a double high blow up mattress (big mistake) rolled up and out to get up and yank! Something caught the tube. Obviously disturbed the catheter. Started peeing around it. Took me awhile and several wet towels to figure out that I had to gently pull the tube tighter the ball up against my bladder. Problem solved. Gentlemen do not yank that big dog's chain!!!

Jamie,
Ask your doc about hot baths. If you have medieval stapling like me he will probably ask you to wait a week or so after they come out. Those holes are the reason you cannot bathe. If you have only last century stitches then at your 2 week visit he should say fine. But if you have modern medicine super glue then he should have told you good to go the day after surgery. Just depends what era he is living in.
As for girth I asked AMS reps that question before I chose their product. After the usual everyone is different disclaimer I was told that it usually takes time to fill out. What does that mean? 6 hours of sex? 6 months of pumping? Years of usage? I think she was trying to tell me that I am unique she has not examined me and even if she did a guess would still be a guess. Be patient. My max girth was 6 7/8 inches. Right now 9 days post surgery I am at about 4 1/2. I never expect to make 6 7/8 nor do I want to. 5 will be fine and that may take at least a few months, no one can tell me for sure and really don't care to know. Good luck to you fellow LGXer may the pump force be with you!
