I will be having scrotal webbing removed while getting the implant. Anyone have experience with this?

Yes I have. Mine went about half way up my shaft. I like it much better now that it is removed 8-) .

Frank,
I had Scrotoplasty while getting my implant and love the results. Here are some pix showing before, after, and how invisible the incision scar is.

I am also scheduled to have ventral Phalloplasty to correct penile webbing with my implant.
Nice to se pictures showing the difference after Phalloplasty.

I am also interested. I am scheduled for an implant revision during which excess scrotal webbing will be removed. I assume this will add to my pain during recovery. But I think it is worth it. I would like to read about anybody's experience. Is this a no brainer?

As I mentioned above I am very happy I chose to have scrotoplasty. I would not say it added any pain, but it did add irritation. My implant incision was Penoscrotal so it was right where the underside of my penis meets up with the top front of my sac. When the webbing was cut away that incision went up my shaft. Depending on my position and how inflated my implant was, there were times the two incisions rubbed against each other causing the irritation.

It was absolutely worth it in my opinion. There is one guy here whose Doctor performed Scrotoplasty without his consent and without need for it. He ended up with a botch job and his sac got sort of deformed. Nothing is without risk.

It's no big deal, I had no pain with that part of the surgery. Mine was removed during my implant. It's just something else that has to heal. The picture above of mine is at about 3 weeks post surgery.

Awesome! Thanks for the pics. Now I'm excited :D. At first I was worried about the pain. Now I am not.

For those who had a scrotoplasty at the time of implant, was that considered a separate procedure and did you have to get additional authorization from your insurance? Was it an extra cost?
