To all of you that went from injections to an implant I have a few questions
1 if you had it to do over would to stay with the injections
2 if the injections worked why did you get implanted
3 is the sensation better one way or the other

Simple question no reply as of yet

I used injections and they worked.....but I opted to get implanted for the following reasons:

I didn't want to have to stock & carry needles....
I didn't want to always have to buy and carry the mix with me....
I didn't want to have to worry about refrigeration...…
I didn't want to have to excuse myself to go to the bathroom and go through the process of sticking a needle in my dick.....
I didn't want to have an erection when I was finished and didn't need it anymore....
I didn't want to create & build up scar tissue.....
I didn't want the possibility of curvature....
I didn't want to be incapable of spontaneity....
I didn't want to go through airport screening with all that crap....


Implant was a no brainer FOR ME.....and one of the best decisions I've made in my life.....it's a game changer....

Also.....almost needless to say but I'll answer the question.....if I had to do it over again, I would get the implant, again....I didn't wait very long either....

As far as sensation goes.....the injections gave me a weird feeling erection....not really pain, but a weird, slight discomfort.....sex was good and the weird feeling was only when I was not having sex, but the whole process & feeling was not for me.....the implanted sensation is more natural and I prefer it much more than the injection sensation.....

I was on injections for a while. When they worked, which was less than half of the time, they produced rock hard erections that hurt and provided no pleasure for me. I kept using them to be able to give some pleasure to my wife. It was really frustrating that they were so unreliable and I attribute that to the severe Venius Leak I had, not that the injections were bad. If they had been effective and not so painful I absolutely would have kept using them. I sometimes ejaculted with injections, but never had a pleasurable orgasm with them. Now with my implant I am able to get it up whenever I want to and kept it up as long as I need to. Because I can mai rain a solid erection I am back to having sensations I have not felt in many years and my orgasms are consistently intense.

Before the implant I had the Carverject injections and it was just a small needle about quarter inch in length, but man it was painful. Not only that, but it seemed that the trama from the pain was starting to give a little curvature to the penis and I did not like that at all, so I decided to go with the implant. That was around seventeen years ago, just had a revision and if I had to do it again, I would definitely go with the implant.

I agree with Ray. I had Caverject, used it (or tried anyway) for 3 years. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. When it did work it always was an aching, throbbing pain. While it got me up, Sex was never a ton of fun.

If I'd have to do it all over again, I would have bypassed the injections and gotten the implant years ago. I am not even "activated" yet, but I can tell already that this pump is going to be awesome.

I used injections for about 4 years. Aside from the fact that my dick stayed hard long after I needed it, sex was great. Unfortunately, after my radiation treatments for prostate cancer. The shots became less and less effective. They also made my dick ache. An implant was my only choice left. Best decision I ever made. I only wish I had it done 10 years earlier.

My comments mirror Donnies. As my handle states, I took over 1000 shots. They worked very well for me with no scarring or damage. You can search my older threads for how and why. Would I do the implant again....in a heartbeat. I love my implant, but like Donnie after my radiation the shots got less and less effective. I will say that I would have done it earlier than I did, but in the first 5 years the shots worked pretty darn good. It is hard to put a value on Bionic sex. As a pleaser by nature, I really value the ability to stay hard as long as I want to.

It is like day and night. My only regret is that I waited so long to the do the implant. Choose a good surgeon and go for it. May sure that you pump pump pump. I can't stress both of thses factors enough: experienced surgeon with good track record and daily pump.
