Does Dr Eid have a certain number of days he wants you in the tub? I know he starts three days in after surgery.

Cannot find it in writing but I am certain i was told at least until the stitches are removed at 14 days. It might have even been 3 weeks. Baths should be 40 minutes 2 or 3 times a day. That is a lot of time in the tub

Did Dr Eid mention anything about taking chilled baths to reduce swelling?

No, during the initial 3 days you are to ice down (bandages still on and catheter is still in) but after that, he only mentions warm baths and cycling while in the tub beginning at 3 days post opNOT counting the day of surgery.

Hawkman and Vagabond
You have a great doctor there! He is top notch and he will be there for you.
Regards the soaks, if you have a tub it is good to soak in after the stitches have healed enough and he will tell you. It helps to ease the pain and you can manipulate them. I think also you want to keep the pump well down in your sac.
Best of luck to you guys.
