I know that the airport question has been addressed; in that the TSA is supposed to be knowledgeable about implants....but if you were travailing with co-workers, would you need to be involved in a conversation with TSA about the implant? or is the TSA completely discreet?

If you were to be in a Ju Jitsu match, or a street fight, do you have any special awareness or do you need to be more protective of the implant than any other place on your body?

I ask, because I have been with many women with breast implants, and although they eventually get used to them, and it all becomes second nature....there is definitely an awareness and an accommodation they must always have regarding how relatively fragile they are compared to natural breasts.

I am not easy on my implant and do whatever I want. The first few months were very tender and I became quite protective of anything that might impact my penis. Either I am unconsciously aware now or more careful (???) but do not seem to remember anything hitting it or being protective lately. Some xrays can see an implant well, some not. I have seen mine on an xray and I have seen xrays that only they tip extenders and maybe part of the pump outline can be seen. Most times at airports I only go through a metal detector though. Personally, it seems to me that the most important thing in any rugged activity is to deflate it as much as possible. More so than every day desk work if you can. Cheers.

I've flown several times since the implant procedure, going through both body scanner and metal detectors, TSA hasn't taken any interest in me. I even flew home just after the procedure with a catheter bag on my leg and went unnoticed by TSA.

Prior to having an implant I was quite concerned about this issue as I ride enduro dirt bikes with at times significant impact in the groin area... ahh when things go wrong.. I also ride push bikes....
I was on the push bike just for a short while only 2.5 weeks after surgery...
I am now 2 months post surgery... the implant will be fine for my activities... no extra pressure or risk of damage c.f. the equivalent part of the body in a non implanted state...
So I perceive no risk on the impact issue.... and a lot of upside on the pleasure dimensions..

Flown a lot, never a comment from TSA. My only "contact sport" is "mongering with young women". My "toy" is a wonderful companion...... and no, the girls haven't hurt it although one will occasionally (rarely, actually) pinch a nut when inflating me........ I do love getting "pumped up" by them..... Good luck!!!!!

I have generally tried to avoid getting kicked in the nuts throughout my life. I guess I'm just sensitive like that. Nothing's changed.
