I would like to try VED as well as traction prior to undergoing surgery. Peyronies and subsequent TRIMIX injecting has left me with alot of scar tissue and some loss of length . I am would like to give myself the best chance for regaining and/or maximizing results when I do the implant.

I am unsure of which traction and VED devices are the best. Is there a consensus on this board? are are there many good choices?

Traction and VED are discussed at length (no pun intended) both here and on http://www.PeyroniesForum.net . Probably more there on traction especially as it relates to Peyronies Disease. I have had an X4Labs for years and very satisfied. In reality, the differences between standard traction devices is minimal assuming you buy quality. I personally much prefer the Vacurect VED due to its unique one hand operation and the unique washer type rings rather than bands that snap on the penis if used for sex. They are cheaper than some of the other medical grade VED's but not cheap by any means. Again, any VED that creates a vacuum whether home assembled or bought does the same thing. Some like the Vacurect are a little more convenient and a medical grade one will take the wear and tear as opposed to the cheap ones but your penis will not know the difference.

Thanks Hawkman - i think i remember you from the peyronies forum years ago. My peyronies is very uniform, (no bend) and before I started injecting, it was like a ballpoint pen that ran uniformly down the shaft. After 3 years of BIMIX/TRIMIX and its more like a sharpie pen now. I wont be using vacuum for sex. It will be as prep for implant. In my fantasy, the traction and VED will "break" up" some of the dense plaque, so as to allow a bit more of a stretch and get me closer to where I was before everything "condensed".

I've seen people like the SOMAerect for VED and Penimaster for traction, but I saw an intriguing video online for the restorex, and wondered if they were also a "top tier vendor" of just a "fly by night' miracle cure.

I’ve been pretty satisfied with the penimaster pro. I know I have gained length in 5 months, just don’t know how much. I’ve added length to the rods 3 times and each time I do so, I feel it is only tolerable for 3 hours. All the research states that you must wear it at least 4 hours, so I try to aim for that. Definite results in the flaccid state, but I don’t really care about that. Just the erect state.

I hope you are breaking that up into 1-hour segments and not trying to go for 3 hours straight.

Thanks for these responses and thanks for all the info in this forum. I am getting ready to pull the trigger on traction and VED hardware to do 3 month prep for an implant. I don’t want to buy “junk” but I also don’t want to overkill it, since I’m only using this as a short term protocol as the prequel to my implant. It seems like there a lot of simple and cheap VED devices, but is this to be avoided? Here are some I am considering:

Wow! Those prices are much more than I paid for any of my stuff.

I looked up CC. I paid $189 for the X4 kit here that FT members told me to use to maintain length after the first crappy implant. It would not stay on with an implant. Mostly never used. I bought the extra length extenders too. Shipping cost $20 though.

Thanks Alibaba - I am now looking at X4 Labs package called the "Anniversary Comfort
Special Edition Penis Extender". It seems to also include a VED pump and its on sale for $199. I plan to use the traction and VED for a few months to see if I cant "shake up" or "break up" some of my dense scar tissue prior to implant, so I can get a bit more "stretch".

That is more reasonable. I'd take 1/2 what I gave for mine and be happy it is not gathering dust. The first price they gave you was nuts! I wish I would have bought one before the implant. For the few minutes before it would eventually slide off the end of the implant, it really straightened and stretching things nicely! They really need to be able to hook up behind the corona of the glans to work good. I am still not sure which is best, screw adjustable or the spring tension. Some told me the screw adjustable had to be re-adjusted several times while in use. Mine had both which I liked as the tension could be varied. Cheers.
