Searching for a surgeon in or not far from Kansas who cares about size

I've seen two surgeons here in Wichita, Kansas, and neither would bother to size patients through injections prior to surgery. They basically took my flaccid penis, stretched it just a little, and said that's about the length I can expect after getting an implant (I'm 8" but a grower not a shower). What I saw was what would be little more than a 6" result. I flew out of there both times. I couldn't believe it! I want somebody with a surgical philosophy similar to that of Dr. Kramer, but I don't really want to travel to Baltimore to have my surgery done if there are any surgeons here in the heartland who are also aggressive on sizing. I'm a single, sexually active 51-year-old and have battled ED for years. I graduated from Viagra to Trimix over a year ago, going from 0.4 to a full ml injection. I'm tired of needles and unpredictable erections (will it last one hour or four or more?), and I'm starting to see scar tissue build up with a downward tilt. I want to keep my 8" length and 6.5" circumference, or real close to it. After much research, I've decided a Coloplast Titan XL would be best for me. I'd really appreciate your feedback.

Good luck with that. I'm on surgeons #4 & 5. Best I could get so far was exactly what you got, a half hearted stretch on a wing and a prayer. Luckily I'm only 6.5 on a good day so I can use an LGX and grow what they give me. I'm expecting between 5.5 and 5.8 out the door. Surgery is the 8th, next week.
I've done the math trying to understand the typical attitude and I realize that most implants do not stretch or shrink. But there seems to be a magical inch difference between inflated and deflated. Not sure why. So shrinking you an inch makes sense.
I suppose you have tried edcure.org? Put in 50 miles, 100, 200, 300, 500, etc and try your luck. May be a waste of time.
I called Dr Kramer's office and they gave me a list of affordable hotels with shuttles to the hospital.
I really have no idea how you can conquer this problem. Surgeon #3 would not guarantee me even 4" bragged how he had shrunk a 10" to less than 8". Said the guy complained! Duh! These guys don't get it but then based on this guys ethnicity I'd say that he probably has 4 to 5 on a good day soooo

I appreciate your honesty, although discouraging. The young PA at my urologist's office understands my predicament. He said we're in such a sexually repressed part of the country that too few guys speak up and push back. He didn't know anything about surgeons in nearby cities, though. I did leave a voicemail with Kramer Urology in Baltimore for more information, but I want to spend time checking my region first. I haven't heard of that website. Thank you. I'll check it out.

well, I can tell you this. I am up in Wisconsin, and while my Urologist is very careful with his wording. he said to expect to stay the same length with the implant as your normal erection used to be, he said you MAY see some additional length and girth over the next few months as you continue to pump and expand, but it is NOT a given. He said DON"T expect to be a "born again pornstar with a 12 inch whopper". So, with that, I'd recommend my Urologist, as he'll give it to you pretty straight.

I went w/ Dr. Kramer. He suggested the AMS 700 LGX due to the 18-20% length/girth expansion capability. I started w/ 5.5" stretched flaccid. At this point (implanted 12/7/16), I've got 6.5" fully pumped, about 5.25" girth. Flights to Baltimore are relatively inexpensive & the hotels have special hospital discounts & all are on the shuttle service. Great experience & result...couldn't be happier...

I think calling Dr Kramer is a good start to give you some perspective. To be exact just how much of your 8 inches he can preserve. I've given up on my 7. Mourned it and finally realized that disease ED stole my length and that my team is doing all that they can to preserve what is left. After I wake up it will be interesting to see just what that is.

I'm fine with maintaining my size, but my concern is losing. I could also tolerate a slight loss post-surgery if cycling will get it back. But losing 1-2"? No way! I'm glad you have a good surgeon.

I'm leaning Kramer since this is so important to me. I did speak with someone from his office who explained how they coordinate with my healthcare providers here for pre-op tests and post-op follow-up. She's going to send lodging recommendations. I also have a buddy who'd like an implant and shares my concerns. We just might travel together and do it the same day. How's that for male bonding? LOL! We'll see.

I ended up staying at the Hotel Indigo in downtown Baltimore...the hotels adjacent to the hospital were all booked up due to the annual Army/Navy football game. This is a cool rehabbed boutique-style hotel which also had a hospital discount & on the shuttle service...excellent restaurant on the premises & great room service: https://www.baltimoreindigohotel.com/
