They basically took my flaccid penis, stretched it just a little, and said that's about the length I can expect after getting an implant (I'm 8" but a grower not a shower). What I saw was what would be little more than a 6" result. I flew out of there both times. I couldn't believe it! I want somebody with a surgical philosophy similar to that of Dr. Kramer, but I don't really want to travel to Baltimore to have my surgery done if there are any surgeons here in the heartland who are also aggressive on sizing. I'm a single, sexually active 51-year-old and have battled ED for years. I graduated from Viagra to Trimix over a year ago, going from 0.4 to a full ml injection. I'm tired of needles and unpredictable erections (will it last one hour or four or more?), and I'm starting to see scar tissue build up with a downward tilt. I want to keep my 8" length and 6.5" circumference, or real close to it. After much research, I've decided a Coloplast Titan XL would be best for me. I'd really appreciate your feedback.
I was told by my uro at Wichita Urology that I would loose an inch. When I asked about infection he just shrugged and said it happened. He said he does 2-3 a year as does the other uro's in the group. I went to Kramer and lost just over a inch. KU med in KC has a implant specialist. He is ranked on Health Grades. All the uro's at Wichita Urology are not ranked as they do so few. Not sure how far you are from Wichita but I am near and if you or your friend would like to meet I would be willing to do so or send me a personal message and I'll get you my number and we can talk.
The 2 things at this point that are fore most to me is that 1. I wish I had local care but that was not possible and and follow up flights to Baltimore are expensive and 2. I avoided infection and that was the reason for my choice to travel.
