The Great Glans Debate

Postby defiant » Thu Jul 26, 2018 9:14 am

Guys,

How drastic is the difference in the glans post-implant?

Of course I know that this is an question that will have many answers..

BUT

With a good surgeon, should one still really expect to have a glans that doesn't allow for easy penetration?

My understanding was that a good surgeon would give you a good implant that allows for normal feeling, look and and penetration ability.

What other factors come into play in this?

Thanks

You are correct in thinking there are many factors hat will contribute to the glans for each situation. From what I have gathered here I think most men who are survivors of different treatments that also contributed to the ED have more complications that would effect the glans.

In my own case I only had VL on one side but was enough to cause ED for the past 20 years. I am just two weeks post surgery but my glans is actually engorged any time I am sitting upright or standing. If I lay down the glans returns to normal flaccid state. This might change after I’m healed and will require stimulation but it am sure blood flow is working. I’m actually hoping it calms down as I’ve been trying different methods to conceal in anticipation of returning to work next week and the helmet is printing through my compression shorts and jeans. I’d hate to make a blanket statement but I’m guessing as long as you had normal flow pre-op and the surgeon doesn’t do damage it shouldn’t be an issue.

I’m guessing the placement of all the components of the implant are causing my constant engorged glans so I guess it’s possible it could be placed in a way to do the opposite. maybe some other brothers can chime in with their experience.

I am 4 weeks post-op so have not pumped to full erection yet, but in my semi flaccid state I can feel the tips of the cylinders well into my glands, so I don't think I will have a problem with my glands. I have not had any of the pre-op issue that a lot of the brothers here have had other then general ED. I used injections of over 12 years and up until this last year, worked great, but started having trouble maintaining an erection during intercourse so went for the final "fix".

Prettt much same here, except I don’t want to do injections and I’m 40 years behind you. :?

You should have no issues with penetration whatsoever unless the surgery is botched.

If you tips go into the head half way when deflated and 3/4 into the head when pumped. Your dick head will be nice and firm. Penetration is not going to be a problem. This goes for vaginal or anal penetration. My surgery was perfect.

I would mirror what Donnie says. Penetration should never be an issue with a properly sized implant. Like him, the tip of my cylinders are half way up in my glans flacid and 3/4 when pumped up. during my early months, I had noticeable cold glans when lying in my back pumped up. The cylinder tips can impede blood flow. Now 16 month in, I rarely notice any of that, but I will say that my glans is larger and more engorged when I am standing or kneeling than when I am on my back. This is simple physics caused by increased head pressure when upright. This is of little consequence when she can ride you cowboy for as long as she wants lol.
