I'm scared of getting an implant although I think I need it. Pills stopped working properly. I stopped injecting 2 years ago and I wont inject again given side effects. My uro recommends implant. But I'm scared my penis wont feel the same again sexually and otherwise. Hoping for some encouragement from you guys who've had an implant. Need to know of any personal complaints about it.

Hello alterr, I understand your fears, all of us had them to some degree. I don't know your age, but if nothing is working, and if you already have pyronies, injecting may make it worse. My advice, be vigilant about asking your doctor all of the questions that many have posted. I would also add the tubing issue. I would hate for anyone to have the tubing sticking out and getting in the way like mine. (there are a few pictures posted under VegasED posts) I also recently responded to your question a few weeks back. For me, even with the tubing fiasco, It has been a sexual resurrection for me!

All I can say is if you have tried everything, you have nothing to lose and a hard cock to gain.
I dare say you will only be sorry for the first few months. After you heal up, you will only regret not doing it years earlier.

Hardest thing for me was getting my head around the no going back part. Just like the prostatectomy. When it is done it is done and no going back but unlike the prostatectomy where there is no more ejaculate, e.d. is a side effect, both of which are negative and undesirable, the implant give a reliable erection every time. Implants have positives. Some will say the negative is it may need replaced. So what? You may drop dead 6 weeks later and it won't make a difference. You might live 50 years and need 5 of them but you've still 50 years of working dick you won't have if you don't. Next step was fighting insurance and finding a doctor that would do it. I would do it all over again and wish I had known about implants and did it 20 years ago. I've had 2 implants within the past 30 months. I have HIV, high blood pressure, just diagnosed with my 5th cancer yesterday. I may not be here in a month and may live forever but if I croak 20 minutes from now I am glad I did it. When you have nothing you have to ask yourself how long you will be satisfied with nothing? Cheers

That's the point, isn't it? Well close to the point.

Even if it doesn't FEEL exactly the same, it will WORK to a reasonable facsimile of how it is supposed to and how it used to.

Mine (LGX) does not feel EXACTLY how it used to. I have what feels like a grain of sand under my skin. It bothers nothing. I can feel the hard plastic distal tips in my glans, especially when flaccid. But when erect enough for sex, it works! And that IS the point.

I don't feel anything inside my penis in ordinary life. The only time I do feel something is when I hold my dick to pee, but this is only if I think about it. Otherwise nothing is felt.

I’m pleased with mine. Working like it is supposed to. Enjoying the new flaccid size.

Alterer: If and when to get an implant is a very personal decision. I echo the replies above. Is it "exactly" like a god given penis. No but it is vastly better than no sex, pumps, pills and shots. It removes a huge amount of uncertainty regarding whether I can get an erection and how long will it last. I have a Titan since Jan 2016. Wife and I both love it.
If nothing else works, you have nothing to lose in my way of thinking.
Good Luck

Me, too. I gained 1.5" in the flaccid size. :)

alterr , I've had an LGX and a Titan. When pumped up your penis feels the same as your hardest boner to you internally, to your hand, to your partner. With a proper fit with an implant that matches your anatomy, even the size is the same. If you want softer, that is no issue too if your boners were not stone hard. You can adjust it by the number of pumps to whatever you were used to and more. Cheers.
