Swollen testicles/Hydrocele

About two days my testicles, particularly the right one, became very swollen suddenly

I am now 3 months in and never had swollen testicles before, even immediately after the op, or indeed beforehand.

researching on the internet it seems to hydrocele, which is fluid in the scrotum. It is not painful or particularly sore, just a very large swelling.

It occurred about a week or so after I started having sex again, and admittedly the sex during that period was very frequent and very energetic

It may of course have nothing to do with my penile implant, but I just wondered if anyone else has had a similar experience, particularly shortly but not immediately after starting to have intercourse again?

No I have not had one after implant surgery but I did have one after my vasectomy. You should get it checked out though. When I had mine checked my family doctor used a needle to draw the built up fluid out and reduce the size. It did not hurt. Way less than getting a flu shot. I started swell some more afterwards and went in to a surgeon. He found a lump that was blocking the fluids exit out. I had the surgery to have the lining of my testicle removed. Turned out the lump was scar tissue from my vasectomy that was done by my family doctor.

Lots of things can cause it. Sometimes it just happens for no determined reason. Mine had no pain like yours but was enormous. Some of the times just reducing the fluid to near normal resolves the problem. As long as the fluid is normal. I would go and get it checked out as soon as possible. Could be something is just restricting the fluid exiting that can be resolved quickly.

If you look hydrocele up in Google, information will say it can be caused by injury. Implants, vacectomy, hernia repair can be that injury, it seems to me. I had a hydrocele some time after my first hernia repair. But no doctor said that was the cause. But a few days after that surgery, I had a lot of swelling, enough to prompt me to go to the ER.
That doctor told the surgeon that my scrotum was the size of small grapefruit. And my forskin was as thick as that grapefruit peel. The surgeon said to take it easy the next few days.
But the hydrocele caused much discomfort. One dr drained it, which felt good for a couple of days. Then it was full again, and my urologist said they usually fill again after draining. So I had it fixed. It was worth it!
Sidebar: When they wheeled me into the OR, There were five or six pairs of eyes watching me come in. I just about said, "Showtime."
