This guy, strongagain,, is pulling your leg. Pyronies, hour glass and bend is very bad to have. If scaring starts at all from injections, stop them immediately. Injection caused Pyronies can cause problems that an implant can not cure. Then you are really up the creek. You never use injections with an implant. I think the previous poster was talking about WHEN he used injections. At 8 weeks post implant surgery there is still healing pain so it is to soon to say which is better. Time will tell I hope.

Hi VegasED,

Could you be specific as to what you mean exactly by taking a big hit in the sensitivity dept? Are you saying that ED itself causes a hit in the sensitivity dept or that VED and injections do?
ED since 1996. Peyronies in 2012. PRP in 2013 and 2017. Dr. Brock, urology, NC, USA. Cialis and Viagra stopped working since 10/2017. Haven't been on Trimix since 3/2016. Will consider injecting it again. Will be prescribed testosterone injections soon.

I was on tri-mix injections for about five years. That was after years of a regiment of Cialis and Viagra. This July 5 I will celebrate when year with my implant! Best decision I ever made for myself and my partner.

Hey alterr,
I read my post again and I guess it is kinda confusing, I'll try again.
I am 2 months post-op, my Dr. released me to have sex after 6 weeks. I have tried it out three times the first week after he released me. Before the implant I was on Tri-mix for a couple years, worked for awhile then turned erratic, sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't. When it did work I had a raging painful hard on from 4 to 6 hours.
Now with the implant it gets hard when ever I want it to. I'm in a brand new relationship with a lady that is as horny as me so I'm going to try and wear the implant out as soon as I can.
I don't think anyone would be dumb enough to inject tri-mix into an implant. But then again I guess if it can be done it will be done by someone.

May 2nd, 2018 Coloplast Titan implanted, 24cm with 1cm RTE's. All went well so far.

I can't speak about an implant as I have no experience there. Just realize that the responses to your question will be naturally skewed against injections and for implants. Many responses will be from guys who never had satisfactory results with injections due either to actual inadequate erection quality or pain, usually related to alprostadil sensitivity. The answers you probably want are from men who successfully used injections for a reasonably long time and then moved on to an implant for whatever reason. I've seen few responses from those men. I'm one of the guys, at least for now, for which injections work well and without complications. Personally, I find that injections, when properly dosed, produce a very natural type erection in sensitivity, firmness and temperature. I obviously can't compare that to an implant.

No offense but if you havent experienced an implant you shouldnt comment on this thread. I completely ignored your comment after reading your 1st sentence.

I was on injections for a year before choosing not to keep using them. For me the injection site hurt and the erection, when I actually could get one, was painful. I may have pleased my wife, but it was miserable for me. I am nine months post-op and my implant has been great. Both of us get a lot of pleasure from it. My orgasms are intense and I can last long enough to get her off more than once.

I wonder if more members speak in favour of implants (including me) because there are a lot more implantees than injectees on here and I for one, had a horrible experience injecting... just a thought...:)

I preferred injections. Once I got the routine down and proper syringes. However they only worked if I was standing up. If I sat or laid down it was like deflating an implant. With my new implant I stay erect in any position.
Married 71 yrs old Implanted 5/30/18. AMX 7oo cx ms 18 cm with 1 cm and 2cm rte. ED for many years. Pills stopped working and injections sort of helped. I sure miss the inch I lost but it works.

I used Edex injections for about 2 years...they always worked in regards to an erection, but always hurt before, a little during sex and a contstant dull ache for a few hours after sex. It got OLD really fast. in my last few months of using injections I started getting scarring, and my shaft is just ever so slightly bent to the left, and when I'd get an erection it was easily bendable to the left (not hard)...SO....we stopped injections right then and there, and then started talking Implants.
