may i ask, how many months would constitute the first months?

You're probably talking the first 2-3 months. Don't know if there's any hope or help after that. I didn't do any cycling due to the pain it caused me the first few months. At 6 months post op I began to cycle every other day. Did that for a month and saw almost zero change in length and only about 1/4" gain in girth.

I did cycle my implant for the first 6 months but not daily.
Now, I inflate it for sex only.
I am 22+ months post implant.

I cycle almost daily and seldom less than 3x per week. I would guess once per day (usually at night for about an hour as I am going to sleep) probably between 4-5 times per week.

I usually inflate between 80% and 100%, mostly around 90% so as not to compress by glans tissues and inhibit circulation.

I cycle because it feels good to have an erection and to ensure I will not experience shrinkage. And for something for my girlfriend to play with when we share a bed.

Not included in the above cycling count is inflation for sex. At least once per week and sometimes as many as 4x. We usually only get together on weekends.

Just posted on my journal that I have a funny feeling that the reason my cycling is aggressive at times, then I lay off because it hurts just to grab the bulb, is because my special circumstances regarding the infection. He had to do something special with the cutting, and he told me way back in March that this will take a while to heal. Since it is on the inside now, I doubt I can 'hurry' the healing along.
Once/day for about 10 min. Anything longer is a bonus :D

I cycled for 1 hr once everyday for the first 15 months and gained 2.5 cm in length and 1 cm in girth. I've always pumped up to 100% ( very painful for the first couple of months but pain reduced )
I cycle for masturbation or sex at least 3 or 4 times a week now at 100% inflation with no pain.

I started with twice a day and tried to get at least 20 minutes in the hot bath tub until the pain made me stop. I kept at it increasing the time until I was at an hour twice a day.
I backed off some when I was having a problem reaching an orgasm and it helped. I now cycle once a day for an hour and keep pushing the pump every few minutes to reach max.

Update 2 years. Pumped max for about a year ,1/2 hr a day. I had my pre prostatectomy length back in one month. I still have pain if I pump to max but don't think it is growing any further. I only had ED for 9 months

I only “cycle” is for sex. No need to just pump it up for no reason.
