I got the date from Kaiser yesterday, June 26th at Zion San Diego. I can't wait to join the brotherhood! This has been a great site for me to confirm my decision to follow through with this life changing surgery. Thanks so much to all who have contributed. I am going into this with a lot more confidence then I would have otherwise. Will send before and after pictures when the time is right. Thanks again Andy

My pre-op is on the 19th to set the date for early July I hope! Getting more and more exited and nervous.

Grats, Andy! That's not too long a wait. I go in for surgery in just 2 days. Still thinking about adding a journal, but if you have any questions about the experience, I'm happy to send you a PM.
