Am I Too Young for Implant?

Postby alterr » Mon May 28, 2018 5:32 pm

Hi everyone,

Implant may be in my future but I'm not sure since it's a big decision. Anyway, I'm 47 now and I want to know I want to know if I'm still too young for it. From what I've read, most implantees are between 60 - 74. What do you think?
ED since 1996. Peyronies in 2012. PRP in 2013 and 2017. Dr. Brock, urology, NC, USA. Cialis and Viagra stopped working since 10/2017. Haven't been on Trimix since 3/2016. Will consider injecting it again. Will be prescribed testosterone injections soon.

I was 50 when I got mine and there are some members on here who are in their 20's. When I had mine there was another FT member in a room down the hall from me who was only 24... he loves his implant too.

There are quite a few guys here from their early 20’s up to your age who have implants. It is more about the severity of your ED than your age. If a man can’t get an erection or can’t maintain an erection for sex, he is a great candidate for an implant at any age.

I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.

Wow.. I got a few questions for you..

1) Why did you get it done? What was exactly wrong ED wise?

2) Were you able to get any erections at all before the implant? If so describe them as in soft/hard, pleasurable, could you have sex, etc?

3) Before implant did you try injections, viagra, etc? If so how was that?

4) After the implant, did the surgery numb any part of the penis whether flaccid or erect?

5) Do you feel sexually satisfied when having sex with the implant?

6) Any complaints?

ABSOLUTELY... I 1000% agree. Yes, he is going to have a few more revisions than I will BUT that young man is in his prime screwing years and his dick doesn't work. His brain does and, his brain is telling him to be depressed, inadequate, embarrassed, suicidal, unmanly, etc. The sooner they get their implant, the sooner he can start enjoying his highly sexual youth. Wasting time TRYING this and that is NOT in his best interest. Later buddy.. :)
